So... I watched Borgman today. Like most Scandinavian films I have seen, I'm not entirely certain that I saw the film or was just tripping on shrooms. Shit was edited for content but the description said "original rated PG". Not exactly horror, but there was murderin' a goin' on. And a bunch of other shit I still don't understand. No animals die. No sex crimes are had. There's some brief violence against a woman (in her own dream sequence) and some murderin' of women (but more men are murdered than women). Really, really goddamned weird. If anyone watches this, please report back.

@brett - Like, would you say it was a good shroom trip or a bad one? I need movies to watch during an all-night flight comin up. A loop of that Twilight Zone eppie with Shatner and the monster on the plane just won't cut it.

Like most Scandinavian films I have seen, the pacing is a little slow compared yo most American films. Don't watch it if you're really tired.

Sebastian - Thanks! I wasn't expecting anybody would be willing to give me a detailed list like that. You rock. {animals}It sounds like animal killing is fairly restricted to earlier episodes with Meep since Dandy moves onto humans rather quickly. So, were the hanging animal heads or pieces found of Dandy's handy work of deceased wildlife like small birds, possums, (gulp) rodents, and the like? Or is it just so hard to tell that that's why there are not more detailed mentions of it elsewhere on the web? I guess I'll probably have to find that out with my own animal identification, being the weirdo that can tell apart soups with or without animal broth.

Just finally watched The Woman in Black. Great cast (obviously) but also a classical super spooky ghost story. The kind of horror I can get behind.

Here's a different kind of horror.

Watch amazon for deals. Kelly bought his copy of Abandoned for less than 5 dollars thru a goodwill on amazon. He says the book isn't that great, her other stuff is better.

I discovered I'm pretty fussy with my chocolate covered coffee beans, my local source only has ones covered in nasty chocolate, or the ratio is off. Whatever it is I do not like it.
