I'm tempted to drop a Jacob into the action just to get U rollin again, but am too busy this month so far to contemplate it for long. Can you summon the Cake of Sesame? The DeeK of ender?

I'll get in there in the morning and provide a little set up as well so we can roll at a moment's notice.

@brett= I sent up a thread and some stuff happening with dialogue but if you have specific places that Captain Patti would want to go as far as the route is concerned you can use that as well.

Sorry about that. I got distracted this morning trying to get some bird pictures before the game started.

Did Patti have a thing about dogs? I don't remember that, but then I was channeling a lot of myself into her character for a while, so there might have been an unhealthy level of paranoia expressed in the direction of dogs at some point that I don't remember.

@brett= She got freaked out when they confronted the dog pack before, and was much less freaked out when they confronted the coyotes (the coyotes were small, however and non-threatening).
She seems calmer here.

I don't know how I played it then, but I'm going to assume whatever fear she expressed before was based on the entirely legitimate threat that a pack of feral dogs would actually represent.

I edited Patti's last entry in the crossover mission. Sorry it took so long. When I looked at it this morning it still made me too mad to fix. I'm a little emotionally exhausted. Marissa's been out of town for over a month and the fluffy baby cat's been sick. I had a plan to take her to the vet on Friday, but then on Thursday night I saw some blood in her vomit, so I took her in to the emergency/specialty clinic where she was treated for her cancer. They ran all the tests and nothing came back abnormal. Their best guess on the blood was that her esophagus was just raw from all of the vomiting. The GI specialist called me back on Friday and said his best guess was that she had developed a food intolerance, which I guess can sometimes happen even when they've been eating the same thing for a long time. They gave her an anti-emetic and some subcutaneous fluids that evening (before the test results were in) and told me to withhold food and water until the next day and to reintroduce them slowly. I met with her regular vet on Friday (I left the poor sick baby cat at home) and we discussed diet change options. She had previously been on a prescription diet for bladder health which has really helped (she literally hasn't had a bladder problem since she started on it). We settled on a hydrolyzed protein food that is also rated for "struvite control" which I guess are crystals that form in kidneys that can cause serious irritation and recurrent problems. So, hopefully this will help both. Starting last night, I've been mixing her old food and the new food and as far as I can tell, she hasn't been sick since Thursday night. She's really going to miss her Greenies (she has sparkling teeth and super healthy gums for a 12.5 year old cat) but I found some hydrolyzed protein cat treats that the vet tech said would still help with her dental health. Her regular vet said that Hill's would probably take return of the 20+ pounds of cat food I still have, but I'm thinking since the money is already spent, maybe I should find a shelter to give it too. Here's a picture of the happy baby cat.
