Oh my bad. Well Kelly is damn fucking talented! I would love to see some of your art if you ever want to post it! ;D I saw a couple pages that had your work on them, and I loved the style of it. I wish I could do clean pen/pencil? style coloration like that.
Oh and no problem, I have a friend I know for sure is going to read it, and knowing her she's going to be expressive to everyone about it!
**had some typos...

I'm glad I don't listen to radio or any other of those media outlets that completely overdose you on stuff so that no matter how good it is you hate it within a week.
I first heard of Macklemore when he recorded "My Oh My" following the death of Dave Niehaus (Mariner's radio announcer, local Icon). I kind of forgot about him for a while, then checked out his multi-platinum album after seeing him on Colbert. I'm digging it. There's the self-deprecating humor that I love so much in Nerdcore hip-hop and the generally less misanthropic/misogynistic content in general.

@brett-Even without radio you can get saturated with bands, I really liked Gotye especially his first album before he went big but 'Someone that I used to know' got so much air time it's ridiculous. I mean it even got on fricken Glee.
Like this old one was great:

I love Ella! The rest I can take or leave. Most of my tastes are so conventional that they don't merit mention.
And Billie was definitely an inspiration to this lovely lady.

Ella has such a place in my heart. It goes to show that the historically recent obsession with singers writing their own songs has not always made sense. Ella isn't "just somebody in a cover band".

Sebastian, I was expecting this:
Brett - Think maybe I have a weaker chin and a less bulbous nose. Otherwise, that dude is hella ballparking. Y'know he's older than me, so how come my hair is whiter than his? Did heroin preserve him?

Seems to be about a friendly rivalry with another chap-hop artist. Dandy, I say, but why is that circle of homies so white? Not even any hindi or korean or black friends? Those kids need to get out more. Nonetheless, quite amusing.
Meanwhile, I can hear no mention of professors without linking to the Professor Brothers.

Hey guys, I'm looking for some new tunes. Anyone got some bands to recommend? Looking for something a bit different.

You don't like the hip-hop so much, and that's most of what I've listened to lately. You kinda like quirky stuff, right? Might I recommend the less popular They Might Be Giants albums, especially Factory Showroom?

Thanks guys, I have gotten into some Hip hop but yeah, on the more quirky side. I like stuff with a good beat/rhythm, honestly looking for something a little heavy but not metal. Not so keen on the airy Alternative that's popular at the moment. No worries though, thanks for the suggestions.
