You hurry toward the car. William is barely inside when the creature
slams open the door and lurches across the yard.
The keys are in the ignition, the road ahead is clear. What do you do?

Gerald - "Buckle up, little man." I hit the gas and put the car in reverse. No monster, and no false god will command me, Mrs. Mills.

The creature stands in the yard as you speed off. A spot of impossible darkness in the banal world. There are no other cars on the road, not even cars in any of
the driveways. It is an overcast, empty city. William is sobbing weakly in the
passenger seat, smelling of blood and smoke. Where do you think you will head? ((Don't take him there yet, just tell me where he begins to go.))

((Sorry if my words weren't clear again. I meant for Gerald to back up into the monster with the intention of running it over.))

It's a very difficult maneuver, involving driving forward, stopping, and waiting for the monster to nearly catch up, as William screams in terror. You back against the monster and send it flying several feet away, but also shatter the rear windshield into tiny fragments. The monster is prone, but the car isn't so big that backing over it would be a very good idea. (At least presuming that you want to continue driving it.)

I got out of the vehicle to fire on the creature again while it was still down. My aim was never something I was confident in, so my intention was to get close as possible before taking the shot.

Pew! You blast it in its monster neck which spurts out a little black blood. It's rough and tough though, with thick crocodile hide. It begins to get up and William opens his car door.

If gunshot wounds and auto collisions can't kill it, maybe nothing could. I decided to fire one more bullet into the thing to at least keep it down long enough for us to get back to the car, though I really wanted it dead.bCvjgHbp ·

Crak! It's obviously injured, but it begins snapping at you with lethal razor fangs. William gets out of the car to run.
