 Ru- "Ahaha, Chloe, that'll be nice. Maybe you should, so it doesn't get wet." He let go of her adorable fuzzy paw paw to allow her to take off her teddysuit. "You do make me wish I brought a costume thouugh. Well, beyond this..." He gestures at his body.   "Um, well, be careful, you didn't train for that cold ocean like we did. Come up when you need it..." He tried to gauge how drunk they were.... "Wilhelm, you aren't coming?" |

Chloë stepped out of the teddy bear skin like the intro to a very weird spy film. She wiped the shadow off her nose and tossed the fuzzy suit to Wilhelm.
Wilhelm-
"Oh too bad, 'zeh teddy bear was not real,
it was Chloë all along."
 
Chloë-
"Aww... no way, the teddy is real
in your heart if you just believe."
Wilhelm-
"I will try."
  
Chloë-
"Oh my gosh you guys, it's finally happening! Swimming!"

 Ru- -To Scylla, Kang "Ahh, no, I just want you to be safe... and not get too cold or anything." He looked a little shyier and looked away. Maybe he shouldn't say anything else. He seemed to shrink a little with the negativity. Ru- "The teddy was, and is always real, because it's you! " He hugs Chloe gently, and then beams at her, in his terrifying vampire way. "Do you want to lead the way, Lady Babette?" He held her hand like a lady, because she was, after all, a lady. |

   In response to Ru's question, Babette unlatched their hands and silently backed into the ocean, walking against the incoming waves until they swelled around her knees. Then, she crossed her arms, corpse-esque, and fell backwards. It occurred to her mid-fall that she may float like a duck, as a low-density vampire and all, thus ruining everything. Maybe she could stuff her bathing suit with pebbles and sand. |

Babette quickly figured out all she had to do was exhale
whatever was in her lungs. She could get additional

Chloë slid across the wet sand and did a comical tumble into the water. She landed on her keister and sat up to face the shore, the waves pulling her in deeper.

Sloooop! She was sucked under the water and bobbled up a few times, laughing.

Ru- Ru takes a running leap into the water. He isn't holding back! No dignity (or falling backwards) for him!    "AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ru charged deep into the brine, as if going into a salty, watery battle! "It's...so cold!" He certainly didn't miss the sudden and terrible chill of water rushing into his bathingsuit. |

  Babette rolled on her stomach and crawled down-slope, squinting through the water. She wriggled under Chloe's feet and reached up, grabbing one in her spidery hand.
She wondered how deep a vampire could go before the pressure crushed them. Would it hurt to be stung by a jellyfish? Could they sniff blood out like sharks? Fortunately, she wasn't motivated enough to test each question, but maybe a Scientist like Ellen knew the answers. |

Ru- Ru exhaled, suddenly remembering he didn't have to breathe, and sunk beneath the surface... he drifted to the bottom and crawled across, like a lobster, across the waters and into the sea.
He wondered, if there were sharks in the water, would he be able to see them? Should he care? Would they nibble him like they nibbled corpses of shipwrecked sailors? .... |
