August answered the phone .

"Hey Dazza. Don't panic ya called Ans's phone. Do ya want to go on speaker?"

August offered the phone to Anselm like you would a wild animal with a bit of food.

Anselm took the phone like a very cautious lemur accepting a dried cranberry.

Anselm-
"Hello, it's Anselm. It's Darren?"

Darren-
"Oh-- You.... It really is you. I was worried that someone faked me out."

The other side of the conversation was plain as day.

Anselm-
"I'm not fake, don't vorry. You read my text letters?"

Darren-
"Yeeeeah, it's a little weird but... I got 'em. I don't know... Are you gonna be a Belfry weirdo at me?

Anselm-
"Oh I'm sorry to be veird! I don't know a belfy... My Glennish is bad."

Darren-
"Cool, well... sounds like you already have enough friends."

Janice and Lucio were singing low-key showtunes.

Anselm-
"Oh, it's okay. I'm not friends vith you before. Do you vant to be friends now?"

Darren-

Anselm-
"Ah, I go to parties, go to a music concert, get drug bloods vith my friends... Do you like drugs? Ve're talking about it now."

Darren-
"Eh, yeah... I dunno if they're worth it anymore."

Anselm-
"It's not 'dhe same, but it's ztill good. I can take you for drugs, do you like?"

Darren-
"Maybe. I guess... I have my doubts. You said you're into guns too?"

Anselm-
"Yeah! I haff a lot of guns, do you vant to shoot guns vith me?"

Darren-
"Ah-- I don't think so man. I've had my fill of guns lately -- well almost, see the thing is... All this freaky ass shit keeps happening, so I should probably see if I can get a better piece than what I got. I mean I know a guy but... He's a total salesman."

Anselm-
"I haff any kind of gun, I giff to you! Do you like auto or semi? Or tactics shotgun?"

Darren-
"Hm... I dunno, maybe I'll take a look."
