She plopped him in the wheelchair and something in his leg made an unseemly creak.

Janice-
"Eee, sorry babe. Forgot you're that fragile."

Anselm-
"Eh."

She wheeled him back into the building, shimmying the wheels over the stoop.

Janice-
"I met a ghoul or two, pretty exotic!
Guess this place ain't glamorous enough for vamps.
Sounds like a good thing to me."

Anselm-
"Zehro is nice, I hope he likes Badboy's fingers.
Is it like a shocolate candies? Hehe..."

Janice-
"Eugh, yeah, that's pretty unglamorous."

Lucio poured the contents of a wine bottle into cups laid out on a messy table. Janice handed the first to Anselm.

Anselm-
"Hm, tastes like... boys are huffing? Tch, naughty."

"I dunno Babs put them in a box and everything! Pretty darn fancy. Heck I wouldn't be surprised if Babs put a ribbon around each one."

"That's like lingo for smoking weed, right?

Anselm-
"Eh it isn't so vorse for us. Taste like thinner--
Hm, Janice, pass to me a marker?"

He gestured to a can of funky old markers on the table.

Janice-
"Okayyy? Gonna try a hot 'do like me?"

He uncapped a black marker and sniffed it, before taking a big swig of blood.

Anselm-
"Marker smells of licorice, it's like to drink absinthe. "

Janice-
"Lemonade from lemons and all that."
            
             Lucio-
            "Resourceful."

The mostly undressed vampires took up various rickety furniture. Janice wrung water out of her top in the sexfullest way possible.

Janice-
"So I dunno much about you kids. What do you do for fun
besides shooting holes in the scenery?"

August tried to keep his jaw from hitting the floor.

"Heh... That was us but if Zero asks ya. Nobody knows nothing. I guess we shoot the breeze, hang out, we work on me film. That kinda thing. We get blood from cute girls, go clubbing, do pranks. All sorts of stuff. What about y'all? Do ya drink huffers often?"

Janice-

"See, if you took it easy like the rest of us,

Anselm-
"I haff to kill a Badboy, can't take it easy."

Anselm-
"Vell... I don't know now..."

Janice-
"Whoa, did your injuries really kill your bloodlust?
I mean, the figurative kind?"

Anselm-
"I don't lust bloods, just vant to vin a fight."

Anselm-
"But now it's a bad mood. Demetri is mean to me."

Janice-
"Oooh the intoxicants bring out your candor!"

Anselm-
"Don't mess vith me, it gives me sad."

"Demedtri is scary though. I'm sure he didn't mean it, his sisters had just died."

"Anselm almost did win the fight ya know! How many vamps take out ten fingers? That's pretty bad arse. Don't worry Ans, one way or another we'll get that badboy back. We'll win the fight!"

"Vell, not mean I guess, but not nice. Eh, I don't know, maybe it's too zensitive."

Anselm-
"Anyway, I don't vant to be a mope.
Vhat is fun? You take me on a vheeling chair?"


Janice-
"I dunno, sounded like you kinda deserve a little mope time.
Sure you don't wanna cry into your pillow for a few hours?"

Anselm-
"Don't mess. I don't haff a pillow and you know."

Janice-
"Sorry, sorry. Hey August, you got some acting we can do?
Maybe we can practice a love scene! Who wants to audition?"

Lucio-
"I do, I will audition for Silent Audience Member."

"One way or another I'm gonna get ya in me film, Lucio. Ya will see. Then the acting bug will sting ya hard and you'll wanna be in all me films and I'll say 'non'."

"Don't think I've forgotten Janice already promised to be me witch."

"Maybe we could act out another of me films. "Go". Apparently that's a laugh riot. I guess ya gotta laugh sometimes. I'm sure Ans wouldn't object to throwing a few bananas at y'all."

"Oh, it's um... He comes to zee and only talks for zerious business.
He vants me to kiss people for Doofereime."

Anselm-
"I don't know a bonker. It zays a useful 'dhing to him
so now I haff to kiss Döllinger..."
 
              Janice-
"Uh, what?! I sort of know what you're talking about and I'm still confused."

Anselm-
"I don't know, it's hiss veird idea."

He shrugged to the rest of the group.

Anselm-
"I zay a silly rhyme if I kiss zomeone, only rare...
Only if I like a lot, but he doesn't believe vhen I zay
I already don't kiss Döllinger because zhe looks like two years old."

Ya can't give a dufferhime if ya kiss someone just cause he says so. Ya said it yourself, it's got to be special. Ya already know kissing Dollinger ain't gonna do squat. "I know. It's too veird, I just vant to fight instead."

Lucio-
"Eh, I'd rather kiss just about anyone than fight, but that's just me.
I'd rather do nothing than do homework, and I'd rather take a nap
than do nothing. Hm... I should take a nap later."

Anselm-
"I don't even know vhat is useful for it,
I don't remember vhat I said.
It's 'doofe' for a reason, right Janice?"

Janice-
"Guess it coulda saved old Wanderin' Walter, if I remembered that he even existed before we left."

Anselm-
"I buy you a new plant here."

Janice-
