Trevor awoke with his body in a totally distended pretzel, smells of coagulated blood, burnt hair, gun powder... And he was in a wet alley. Theo and Santi slouched nearby. Santi- "I'm giving us anoth-- It's Trevor."

Theodore- "Good morning Trevor. There was a big disaster. We've just got to uh, move around a bit, you see."

Trevor - "..." Well, at least this wasn't as bad as the fish guts.

Santi looked a little more closely at the Lepponen apostate. Santi- "What's the matter? You act like you've never come back from astral projection into an unfamiliar circumstance before."

Theodore- "Oh Santi, he's still just a baby. He's probably not even used to accessing bestial abilities. Took me at least a month or two."

Trevor - "Sorry. Did I worry about nothing?" Where any other hearth spirit friends around, or was it just the three gents? Trevor hoped all was well with Bunny and Wendy.

Miss Bunny was imitating Trevor's pose, translucent in the spirit world. Something was slapping wet cardboard on the ground there and cursing, but he couldn't see much more without going blind to his allies in the mortal realm. Santi- "Maybe so. We're fine now. Except that we have to keep moving. Creep to the rooftop, or catch a bus? What's the vote?"

Theodore- "What-- some sort of night trolley? That doesn't sound like a place for respectable people!"

Trevor - "If there is a threat still... Maybe the roof?"
Miss Bunny - "You don't wanna get other people in trouble, right Trevor?"
Miss Bunny didn't grasp the amount of trouble Trevor was considering.

Trevor knew they couldn't see Miss Bunny at the moment, so it wouldn't be great to talk to her. Then again, the rudeness could be taken both directions. Classic shaman problemz. Santi- "Very well. Stay close to me and I'll be shadows for all. We can discuss things as we go." He began to scale the wall, slowing for everyone to stay together. "We were most likely found through Inka's magic. Trevor, what would you require to protect us from that?"
The cool shadows smelled of rose and acetone.

Theo strolled up the side of the wall like being perpendicular to the ground was standard fare. Theo- "Santi, it smells so nice, reminds me of a perfumery in the old days. Oh that we all could have such genteel abilities."

((Summary mode? Useful. I revise your thing a bit to fit the situation, and to make it full summary instead of partial RP, in the spirit of expediting.))
While they worked their way along roofs and alleys, Trevor explained to Santi what essentials he'd need from his initial kit, such as trinket components, essential oils, and chalk. More specifically he asked for a small pouch of millet or rice to lure Rat whenever something more interesting led him away.
He apologized, but Santi was able to assuage his difficulties somewhat - he had about 80% of Trevor's goods in his bag.
Meanwhile, Theodore was confused to boredom and mostly tossed off non-sequiturs or needled Santi for ideas on a good hideout. Santi tried to explain to him that any hideout would do once Trevor's magic was working. But Theodore reminded him they needed to throw off scent.
To make that happen, he took Santi and Trevor by the hands and flew them to a crusty abandoned manse where Trev could do his thing. 80% was enough and on the surprisingly intact floor of a broken old parlour, Trevor got to work on the spell.
Rat had explained the best methods while they were returning from Kohon, but the most important component was out of Trevor's hands. He needed Rat to make barriers of his own in the spirit world. The ancient hearth spirit did things Theo and Santi would never see, while they occasionally glanced at Trevor and played Avant.
At last, they were safe. Assuming Inka didn't have some tricks Trevor and Rat had not conceived of...
((wanna have a bit of convo with these dudes? anything u think trevor would wanna know about them, or whatever?))

Trevor noticed Theo's boredom and asked what would cheer him up. He just turned on a smile. Something about feeling perfectly at home now, thanks. After that, he spoke with Santi to make sure he was doing alright, taking his mental health into consideration. Santi was extremely mum about personal feelings, always turning conversations with Trevor into educational sessions about the spirit world. Not great.
Nonetheless, they passed the rest of the night in peace. Trevor's magic must have worked!
