It was the day after the trip to Columbia Tower, and Ben had not passed up on Chantelle's salmon cakes. And now he was both regretting it and paying the price. Would he ever be able to bring himself to eat something again?

Ben was finally feeling a lot better. He was just about starting to feel hungry, when there was a knock at the door. Who was it?
Stevie- "Hey! Blood guy got taken out en route, but he was a security guard at Southcenter Mall. We're getting a crew together to head down there as quick as we can, and it's gonna be an all-night stay. Bicycles on I-5. Seth wants you to go. Whaddya think?"
The next day, after Ben's big adventure, he packed away his loot: The no longer so historically important hacksaw, a spray can with some WD-40 still left in it, and a tennis racket with four balls. Not a lot to show for all that work. He hoped that the blood-caked saw wouldn't attract ghosts, but he didn't see why it would.
Ben- "I should've grabbed some of that jewellery..."
Then it was time to get out of the sweaty jacket and hang it up for a while. And get a sponge bath after all that pedalling in the summer sun. It sure felt good to be home again.
After the skeleton invasion Ben returned to his room to think things over before falling asleep. What had happened with that corpse pile? Had the skeletons come from there? If so, did that mean that they were zombies freed of the flesh that made them clumsy and slow, or that the dead zombie skeletons had simply been possessed by spirits? Whatever it was, it was clearly the nekomata's doing. Kicked to a pile of fluff. Was that fluff going to turn back into the nekomata when the coast was clear? Maybe they should've gathered it up and stored it somewhere? Or set it on fire!
And what happened with that guard guy at the back door who was apparently such a screw-up? Had he been stampeded by skeleton feet? Was he still alive? Ben had neglected to find that out, but since no one had brought any really bad news, he assumed that the guy had managed to get out of the way.
Lots of things going on in a short amount of time. Would he even have time to go through the harddrives the next day, or would they be interrupted by something else?
