Unknown Person- "'Witch' that is such a bad press label... We prefer to be called 'wiccans' and it's a very peaceful and beautiful thing! Yeah! Are you looking for something? Oh wow, you're all like...warriors..." A delicately boned man of medium complexion and height opens the door. He seems generally slim and not particularly menacing and from his appearance, the sort of person who seemed more at home on the cover of a magazine than in a world with real people who get sooty or dirty. His voice was distant and airy and did not carry a threatening tone, and his eyes were half-lidded.
The smell of heavy incense and fancy scented candles wafted outside as the person opened the door slowly, but not carefully. He didn't seem to be very concerned about if they were dangerous or not and certainly wasn't dressed in armor or carrying arms or anything of the sort.
The inside of the house, as far as they could see, was dimly lit but fairly well illuminated by many, many candles of every shape, color and probably scent, which made the inside of the house...smell...interesting...

"Oh, yes 'wiccans'. We were told by a wolfish lady, you had found some wards against the monsters. Thought we might come in for a spot of tea and a chinwag." It was a hippie commune, at least Rob hoped, kindness was sometimes a mask for something a lot more malevolent. He wasn't ready to buy it.

Unknown person- "...Wards against monsters? Oh, like..protective ward stuff? Oh, wolfish lady?" He seemed confused by this, but opened the door further to let them in, and the overwhelming smell of incense, mixed candles and probably some of the bad-weed wafted over everyone outside. The inside had skylights and so it wasn't the worst lit place they had been to be sure. It seemed immaculately clean and decorated at least in the front for a house like this. "Yeah yeah come in! I've got some coca tea left over and everything. You aren't here to buy then? That's totally ok, we believe in the power of helping and healing hands and positive energy. You guys all got a good vibe. Maybe we can talk crystals afterwards." "I'm Vars. My...uh... partner Hali is in here somewhere hanging out. He likes to do fiddly stuff with electronics. Oh, we have light-lights in here too but this is more atmospheric yeah? It calms the soul." He makes a motion as if to invite them all inside. Sylvia- "Hey pretty-boy you got quite a place in here? What are you selling anyways?" From the smell she could make a good guess but it was worth asking anyways. Vars- "Oh everything. I used to own a shop for the selling of all pagan spiritual things a while ago, but sadly people are less interested in my sage and more interested in the mary jane. I suppose times are rather stressful all considering. We also grow medicinal tobacco varieties, fruit and vegetables if you are wanting." Ashley- Ashley, for his part, looked entirely confused by this mess and unsure what to do. "Do you want me to wait outside?" He asked her. It seemed to be about tactics. It was her choice. He didn't know what to make of this strange person who talked like someone from Waynes' World.

Everyone can react here and then proceed to Var's house

"Totally man, we're all chill. No narcs here to kill your vibe. Allegedly Ms Wolf said you had a way of protecting yourself against zombies and the like, that's all we want, no wacky tabacky." Rob slightly mocked Vars' tone with the first part but it was uncertain to whether he was serious or not. He was generally friendful though and seemed to relax in the familiar hippie atmosphere.

The two military types posted outside hear a soft voice somewhere nearby. Probably near the sidewalk...A woman, or perhaps a child. They could not see her, but they could hear her willowy voice. "H...help... Are you there?" Ashley looked suspiciously in the direction of the sound, though he raised his weapon and marched onwards towards the sidewalk. "Hey, you! Something is happening outside!" He tells the current household inhabitants, and is on his way towards the source of the sound hidden by the hedgerows.

"Shit." Wolf follows Ash at a distance, circling in the lawn to get a view of the side of the house, to make sure this wasn't a distraction for anyone or anything that might be coming from behind.

Wolf sees nothing threatening around the size of the house, besides a small garden, though he notices some interesting crisscrossing white tape across the top of some of their fences and underneath, and around the back of the house.

Rob busted in on the streets behind Sylvia, he looked around for signs of trouble. He followed after Ash's moving figure."What's going on? Mr. Ash?"

Ashley- "There's someone calling for help nearby... it might be a trap.." Ashley cautiously walked up to the gate and peered around past the hedgerows, but whoever it was seemed to be obscured. "I'm not seeing anything. WHERE ARE YOU?" Ashley stepped over the threshold, and, in front of a slope with no houses, a small person (woman? child?) was slowly crawling down the street on her hands. "There's someone down there by the wooded area." He looked over his shoulder at the others, and then walked out of the gate. He had the smallest touch of hesitation, as if he believed that threshold did have some kind of magical power after all. Sylvia- "Well, don't just stand there, I'm with you!" Sylvia walked up next to Ashley and seemed eager to reach the woman. "Can't let possible traps get in the way of our good nature, right?"

Rob hurried after the other two, he too seemed eager to know what was going on."As long as both of you offer up your juicy calves, it's all sunshine here. Let's go save the lady or walk boldly into a trap.."

Patti was a good sprinter and was only half a step behind the rest going past the threshold.Wolf made a point to mention the tape thing when this cleared up. He took a completely different route than the others, making note of which way they were going and exiting out the backyard or side to find what might be lurking to spring the trap. He drew his knife and gun as he went.

(Wolf can cut across the neighbor's yard if he jumps the fence in Vars' front yard, but he cannot get out through Var's back yard. The door to the back yard is locked and has a white picked fence in the back and there is white tape over the top of all of the fences in his back yard. He can't really try to surround or ambush the person from the back unless he wants to climb through bramble, bushes and trees uphill since that area is nonsensically on a slope where the cross-street on the other side deadends.) Ashley and Sylvia head towards the person, who remains on the ground. It seems trap-like, but who would have known they were coming ahead of time to set something like this, much less lay here pointlessly. Unless they were being followed... Woman- "Ah, careful..." She seemed to be mostly without clothing, and covered in dirt and scratches. From crawling? Or did she remove it? "I just escaped..." (How closely do they approach. Also give respective approachers a roll)

Rob rushed to the woman side, going red at the lack of clothing. He averted his eyes, looking forcefully at her face instead. He really hoped it wasn't what he thought it was. It couldn't be! "Are you alright mam? Who? Who did you escape from?" Roll: 15
