Anselm-
"Sure, uh, maybe... maybe I vait here."
 
Lucio-
"Ooh good idea, I'm stealing it."
Janice put an arm around August rather familiarly.
Janice-
"Guess we're the welcome committee."

August accepted the friendly arm with no problems. He was a little excited to see all this happen from an outside perspective.  "Howdy, kiddies. Hahaha well we didn't expect ya to arrive on a donkey. Hope you didn't get a tummy ache or an arrest record." With August's help, she ushered the humans inside the eldritch interior of the bindery. Anselm stepped behind a large easel and peered around from one side. Lucio stayed chillin' in his folding chair, bare feet up on a table. 
Lucio-
"Word. Ready to die?"
Janice-
"Luce, that's in poor taste."
Lucio-
"Sooo... not quite ready. Got it.
Take your time."

 "Yeah the dentals great. Ya even get new teeth. No charge."  "Did ya bring food to eat? Cause we ain't got any. Well I got some cookies. This is our humble abode. Over there in the offices is where we sleep. Uh I don't know if we have a loo? Ehh, we'll work it out." He pointed off to the small rooms each with either a tattered door or shower curtain in it's place. The walls of the offices looked like the builders had gotten lazy and painted up some furry cardboard. There was no guarantee that the pink stuff poking out the ceiling was covered by health and safety either. The different chemical smells assaulted the human's noses. Apart from a few slapped together flourishes it really didn't give the impression of a place you'd call home. |

I ate half a pizza half an hour ago. I will start
feeling horrible in another half hour or so,
and might have a stroke or seizure.
Dana- If I'm still alive, amirite?"

Janice directed Anselm with her eyes to move away from his hiding place. He edged barely into sight.
Anselm-
"...Good evening."
 
Janice-
"Good god Anselmo, are you tryin' to sound like Lord Demos right now?"
Anselm-
"No..."
Janice-
"I think he's just a bit nervous. Why don't we have a good chat
before we get this show on the road? We're all gonna be
gooood buddies before long, I swears it."

Anselm drifted around the edges of the copious bits of debris and furniture, watching the others like a deer peering between the trees. Janice seemed down with the mood-lightening, and hopped up to sit on a table.
Janice-
"Hells yeah, a monkey sounds wayyy more cute than what we can do."
Lucio-
"Speak for yourself, I'm always cute, even as vermin."
Janice-
"Of course, of course, love. Hey, August here is hardly older
than you guys are now, and he's already havin' a blast swingin'
around doing who knows what! Sounds like a good time to me."
 
Lucio-
"Hm, for some, perhaps..."
