This old machine was not unlike his aunt's computer. It had almost nothing on it, but ran more sluggishly than a cheap laptop taxed by an MMO. Others may have raged as they waited for it to finish booting and for programs to load, but there was something soothing about taking a moment to handle ancient tech for Trevor. Maybe it reminded him just a little of home.

As slow as it was, he had some time to kill before the ladies came available. What did he do with that time? Use his phone for internet instead? Find something else to get up to?

Trevor left and soon returned to his seat at the computer desk. He had initially gone just to dismiss Washy Wendy, who would inevitably be troubled by all the commotion and prospective mess, but also took the time to set protective barriers around the creatures in his care. One could never be too careful.

The Skall call was had, and when it ended, people began readying to move their most important belongings to the Dragomir mansion.

Washy Wendy used her inhuman lifting power to assist Trevor with the move. As witnessed before, this ability was useful for moving obstacles while cleaning, but was also employed when things needed to be put "exactly where they should be".

Eventually they had all the best magic stuff plus Trevor's bugs in the big street machine, and rolled with mercenaries toward the Dragomir mansion...
