"..." Huh.. Santi wasn't getting the phone at all. It was a real patient person on the other line.
August used his monkey style climbing skills to whip his phone out and send a text to Quinn. (-In text)"M just lying there. I Thk praying. O-o ."

Lodate e benedite--"
CLANG The noise rang out so loudly, even Quinn heard it down by the pool. Santi's shoulders jerked. "...!" A weak voice continued.Marchese- "--il mio Signore... e ringraziatelo e servitelo..."
Then nothing.
Santi's phone buzzed, and he scrambled with it. Santi- "Oh-- oh did you, no no, it was-- I dropped a plate. It's fine."

"Shootfire!" August scrambled looking for some kind of opening, trying the window first. Something was definitely off, there was no darn plate to be seen.

(( btw Sir Milo Quartermass -- plz feel free to put in anything you'd like to add as reactions and I will edit them in. This stuff is happening in a very short time so Quinn isn't too far out of the loop. )) August found a latch, the window could swing in. The movement at the window caught Santi's eye. Santi- "August! No, I told you to--"
A sickening wet slurp and a clatter of metal sounded from inside the lounge. Someone stepped out in to the hall, with dripping, bloody hands Theodore- "Sandy, about that gift-- oh, hello!"
He waved at August, which sent little droplets of blood splattering though the hall. One of his hands was curled around a gory hunk of flesh.

August pushed open the latch with a look of utter horror. " OH Santi, what have ya done? Oh oh Lawdy! Bloody heck... Hi..." ((Does August have those mad shadow slipping kinda skills yet? ))

((re:shadow powers ooooops I forgot. n/m on that. )) Santi- "No-- it's... I didn't! I didn't have any..."
Theodore- "Don't worry, little fella. The bad man can't hurt you any more. I've come to help all of you." Santi- "Is he really..." Theodore- "Go see for yourself."
Santi- "Right..."
Santi buried his face in his hands a moment, and stepped into the lounge and out of sight. The bloody boy kept his gaze on August, that dripping hunk of meat still clutched in his hand. Theodore- "Gus, was it? Your nightmare is soon to end! How does it feel?" The opening was narrow, but August's still wet body would help him out here if he wanted to come inside.

August stayed on the other side of the window for now. He wasn't quite ready to see what was on the other side. "Close enough... I err don't remember ya name. He.. he wasn't that bad. A little handsy but he gave me a studio. That's kinda more of a dream come true than a nightmare... but err I'm sure ya had.. reasons. Oh lawd..."

Theodore- "Theodore's the name and--"
Theodore- "--Sandy, the clock is ticking! Or this heart, rather. Well, it's not going to be if you don't hurry, is what I'm trying to say."
Santi- "*muffled*"
((maybe we can get an August response and wait for a Quinn?))

Quinn looked startled when August slipped up the wall."August! Bless, lad, you're going to land all of us in the soup..." He watched his 'brother' slip away, picking himself up off of the ground to stand below where the other had gone.Unfortunately, his phone had gone into the water with him and it wasn't really up to receiving texts. He didn't get the message August sent him...but he did hear the clang. He was unsure for only a moment more before calling up."August! August is everything alright?!"

"Well...what's going on up there?! I could have sworn I heard a humdinger of a din and I swear...wait...bloody HELL, lad, who else is up there?" He could hear snatches of conversation drifting down, full of unpleasant references. His skin prickled with dread."...I'm coming up there." He made for the door, meaning to take the easier way up since he was still a bit rubbish at wall-climbing.

Theodore- "Put it back? Haha, don't be silly. It wasn't an accident." Santi stepped back into the hall, his shoes clacking through blood drops scattered on the slick floor. Santi- "...This can't be real." Theodore- "Real as real ever was! So, are you ready?"
Santi- "What do I have to do?" Theodore- "Well, you eat it."
Theodore held up the hunk of flesh. August couldn't tell if it was still moving from his vantage. Santi- "Eat it! You expect me to..."
Santi- "I guess, I have no choice now. This is it." Theodore- "That's the truth. Here you go."
Theodore passed the heart to Santi, and clasped his other hand over Santi's. Both of them were teenagers, quite a lot smaller than August. Santi still had the voice of a child and this Theodore was hardly better. Theodore- "It's going to be hard. It's going to hurt. Don't be scared, I will help you. I promise you that."
Santi- "..."

"Ya don't have to do it Santi... Oh lawd...Santi.." August's own voice broke a little and his eyes welled. He forgot Quinn's question as he looked on in horror at the scene. Being outside made it seem a little less real, like watching a horrible movie.
