Helen- "Mm, let's go to the back." She would lead a willing Trevor thither. As they went,Helen- "What happened there?"

Trevor - "Sorry I caused trouble. I think I pushed a limit."

Helen- "Pushed a limit, huh?" She didn't keep as much claret reserved as Thierry tended to, but there was enough to top off a lil' guy. She led him into a relatively empty stock room and pulled a bottle out of the mini-fridge.
Helen- "Tell me more, like, specific. Maybe I can tell you what went wrong?"

Trevor sighed as he closed his eyes.Trevor - "I tried imposing thought. It was unsuccessful." In reality he was pleased with the results of his trial and error, but put on a show of disappointment for Helen's benefit.

Helen- "That's OK! If you're able to catch someone's gaze, you're already off to a good start. Imposing is a little more tricky. Still, if I had to guess, I'd say the guy got mad because you were staring at him without a good excuse. Does that make sense? Try to start a natural conversation with a guy first, then the eyes can be less weird."

Trevor - "Thank you for the advice." Trevor would proceed as Helen suggested once he was refreshed.

Helen- "Great. Now for some reason, one of the easiest suggestions to make is lulling someone to sleep. Try that tonight, once you got the eyes on them." The cold blood was much the same as what he had at Inka's, but perhaps a tinge rummy. The whole bottle helped immensely.

Trevor drank from the bottle after taking a moment to realize they were forgoing appropriate glassware. He thanked Helen again for the help and was soon back amongst the humans.

The crowd was convivial and random, all manner of fiery anybodies. What type of person might a Trevor seek this time?

Each small group had a different character to it, and few people were completely alone. Several people at or near the bar seemed to only occasionally dabble in socialization with their peeps - a few might be designated drivers, others drank. There was: an Ernish guy with sheep dog hair, two Aegenian Glens who had nothing to do with each other, a guy that looked like a truck driver, a skinny lady with glasses, and a big lady with all of the fingernails.

Trevor had a string of varyingly pleasant interaction with people much less resistant to having their attention captured. A couple of blokes approached to give him their misplaced respect for being crazy enough to start a fight with someone "twice his size". During this he received a drunken pat on the back that nearly knocked him into the passing bespectacled woman as she was carrying a very full drink. He apologized to her even though she didn't notice the near collision to entrance a couple more eyes on the go.
The big woman with carefully manicured nails turned out to be involved with the conservation of an endangered dragonfly species and was the only person that Trevor had more than a quick word with. He joined her at the little table where she sat and their conversation lasted until the lady realized how late it had gotten.
