@chris= Ciprofloxicin will work for respiratory infections as well, it's just not THE most effective.
I recommend saving it for when you inevitably develop gastro intestinal issues though

Is it inevitable? It's not a very long stay. Nothing but bottled water & pre-packaged food maybe?

My symptoms have gotten slightly better and I still have no excess phlegmationTM above the top of my windpipe. I'm thinking I may have accidentally inhaled an irritant, bug, or food particle into my windpipe and this was the response. So far, I'm glad I didn't start the Cipro because nuking my intestinal flora would have been highly unpleasant. I'll keep you all appraised. I woke up early and couldn't get to bed, so I might try to post some more pictures this morning.

I haven't gotten any pictures of them yet, partly because they are sad, but about 50% or more of the feral dogs in Hyderabad are dead ringers for dingoes, with the saber-form tail.

Prepare for boring. I mean, it's an empty apartment. I think there's a 65% chance that this is the one we end up moving into though. The front door and secondary living room. The great room/dining area. First empty room. I think there is actually built in storage on the let out of frame.

Second empty room. Bathroom for second room. Don't ask why I didn't close the door before taking the picture.

Third empty room. This has a small balcony. BTW, this is on the 13th floor (one down from the top floor so we don't get too much direct solar heat. The bathroom of the third empty room. Starting to all look the same, huh?

The very small puja or "prayer room", really just an alcove. I've seen much larger. The kitchen. Boooring.

The master bedroom. The room isn't any bigger, just has different flooring and storage. The pic of the bathroom didn't turn out, but it's the same too, except for more storage closets in the space that connects it to the bedroom.

The view from the various and sundry balcony areas. This is the left hand view from the third empty room. The right hand view from the third empty room. The left hand view from the main great room balcony, basically the only part that doesn't overlap with the left hand view from the previous balcony.

Looks nice Brett, mad jealous of all the amazing curries you must be eating. I hope you settle soon and stop feeling sick.

I'm not a huge fan of curry, but I think it will grow on me faster than Marissa. I'm going to play it safe on spice until my throat is feeling less raw. Here's a picture of the fanciest puja we saw during our search. This was from my favorite place by far but 1) it is a standalone villa, meaning it is kind of large and we probably couldn't furnish the whole thing and 2) it is more than two miles from public transportation so our housekeeper wouldn't be able to get there easily.

Cool! Yeah I have a very high heat tolerance so I love them. My parents were making Thai and Indian curries when I was little so yeah. Well still jealous! It's going to be an amazing experience! You'll really get to know the culture!
