Ellen- "Maybe I should have the radio up. This just seems silly."
They would be at Leo's house soon... Sarah- "Hm, it depends, Leo. Sticking her to the wall with adhesives, it's a bit similar to your past methods. Don't want to arouse suspicion."
Ellen- "Sarah... Come on."
Sarah- "It's a lot more interesting than clubbing."

" Past ... methods?" She decided to stay on Leo's good side.
"Uh, maybe we can throw a roll of toilet paper at her house Babette was out of her element. She turned back to the rear view mirror and resumed practicing illusion magic. It was so much nicer than revenge plots.

((Trinity - I don't have that problem. I know when the reply page is slow to load, those are the last things to pop. Not sure if that's helpful info.))
They pulled up to the house. There were cars everywhere, leaving them no choice but to pull into the driveway. They got out. Ellen- "If we see anyone you don't know, we'll turn them away with suggestion. If we see anyone you recognize, we'll have to erase their memories. Easily done, so don't worry. The important thing is to not leave evidence we were here. Nobody touch anything with your hands, except the snake."
((I know longer remember what we've said about Leo & Babette's personal effects, but I hereby decree they have everything except their cellphones, so Leo has her key.)) They approached the door. Sarah- "Snakes. Why?"
((Trinity, describe the entering of the house. The building is a type of brick home that one hundred years ago was used by middle class people, but now has inflated in value to where peeps have to be somewhat rich to own them. The dad is a somewhat rich guy, but nothing outrageous.))

Leo fished around in her pockets in search for her key, and produced it from her back pocket. As she approached the door she saw a note had been crudely taped to the door, as if it were done in a hurry. It was from her dad. "Hrm.. Snakes fed.. out of town.. meeting.. cake in the fridge.. Ugh, figures." She ripped it off the door and crumbled it in, dropped it on the steps, and crushed it with her boot. "Don't have to worry about the boss man, you guys. He'll be out of town for the next three days. Come on in." After painstakingly jiggling the key in the doorknob, she nudged the door opened with her foot and held it open for everyone else to step inside first. Politeness, yo! The door first led into a small little family room. A wave of hot air soon rushed over the group and fled through the open doorway. Ornate chairs and tables surrounded a dusted fireplace that looked as though it hadn't been used in centuries. The first thing they would notice, however, is that literally every visible surface had been painted white, from the walls to the ceiling. The only splashes of color where the faint tan fabrics of the cushioned chairs. A staircase broke off at the far end of the room, leading to the upstairs. At the other end was an arch doorway leading to a dining room and kitchen. Leo stepped in and shut the door once everyone was inside. "So, um, my dad has this.. disorder thing? Bright colors give him headaches, so we had to paint everything white.. Except for my room obviously. The heat's for th'snakes, duh.. Cake in the fridge if you guys want it." She forced a somber sigh. The chocolaty goodness that resided in that fridge was now nothing more than an empty promise.

Ellen picked up the note and wagged it at Leo before dropping it in her pocket. Ellen- "This. Should have stayed on the door. No evidence we were here except for the magic missing snake, right?"
Sarah- "Heh. Well, I suppose that means we'll need to stop and get a new cage and heat source for them. If nothing's open, I can go to one of Demetri's places with animals, probably find something there."

If she'd been a more dramatic sort, Babette woulda hissed and recoiled from the relentless white. Didn't Leo's father understand that white was all colors, mushed together like a blinding stew?
She awkwardly stood near the wall and squinted."Maybe I should wait here while you find Theo and Scar. That would reduce evidence. I may shed dry ear blood onto the floor. How would the crime scene fellas would interpret that? Hm. Is a vampire's blood her own, or does it resemble her latest vict ... Sarah, Demetri? Demetri, you say? Yes, let's go to Demetri."

Leo waved off Ellen's concern. "Whose gunna take the time to notice a single piece of paper?"
Ellen- "Your father: I left a note and it's gone. Police: It was for her. She's the only one with a reason to take it. Must have been here. Your father: I guess so!"
"Demetri? Oooh, the guy Eli was totally checking out. Cool."
"Demetri? Oooh, cool."
Sarah- "*snrk* Demetri is a self-important ponce." Ellen- "I thought with Dragomirs that was a given."
"My room's upstairs. Babs, you're welcome to stay down here or come up, I don't care. But I guess you guys are coming," Much finger pointing at Ellen and Sarah was had, "So just follow me I guess." Whoever followed Leo, she would lead them to the stairs. She anxiously made her way up them, gripping onto the handrail like a grandma. It was apart of her normal routine to walk up these very steps daily, and really this time wasn't that different.. But there was something about walking up them now, like she usually did, knowing that it would be her last time that made her grip like iron almost as if she didn't want to go. She was half tempted to turn back and run out the door in hopes of escaping, though she decided against it. Sarah seems like she knows how to open a can of whoop-ass, and Leo wasn't ready to talk that chance.
At the top of the stairs there was a small open area about the size of a child's classroom. There were three doors neatly lined in a row against the back wall, and in between them were end tables with vases filled with white roses. Some were wilting and beginning to shed their petals. On the walls were several pictures of Leo depicting different points in her childhood - One showed what looked like a birthday party. Leo sat at the head of a table with party hat and a bright, cheery smile. She couldn't have been no older than ten. Her father stood behind the chair she was sitting in with a large chocolate cake in his hands. He shared his daughters smile.
Another picture was at least three years after that. The scenery had changed to what had appeared to be a pet shop and Leo was triumphantly holding the cage of her snake, arms outstretched to the camera. In the background was a man behind a counter with a concerned look on his face.Leo herself payed these pictures no mind and approached the door farthest to the right. She rested her hand on the door knob, turned it, but did not open it. "This is my sanctuary. The only place where I can listen to heavy metal and not have people look at me weird. I proudly present to you ladies, Castle Trileon!" The door was flung open in a flourish, revealing a room fit for a rebellious teenager. Posters of indie metal groups and band merch cluttered most of the wall above her bed, which was messy and had several articles of clothing on it, amongst music CD's and a pair of over-ear headphones that looked far to big for her head.
There was a dresser to the right of the door upon entering. Several kitchen knives stuck out of it, as if Leo had used it for target practice. A few drawers were open and were spewing with socks and gothic accessories. Stacks of CD's were strategically placed in alphabetical, year of publish, and band order on top of it. Next to the piles was a small TV silently playing old reruns of Simon's Silent Hour. Looks like she forgot to turn it off.
The floor contained (but was not covered, like Leo had over-exaggerated,) with dark clothing and one or two pairs of old, drawn-on sneakers. Leaning against a wall was an electric guitar with a checkered tie hanging from it's neck. The name 'Sebastian' had been scratched onto it, and had several band stickers peeling on it. A cord hooked up to an amplifier snaked across the floor. One end attached to the guitar, the other to the amp. It looked like it was still on, indicated by a small red light on the amp next to a series of broken dials and buttons.
On the wall above the dresser was a framed.. restraining order? It looked a few years old from her highschool days and she seemed to be proud of it, considering she took the time to put it in a frame. A door stood open on the last wall next to the bed, revealing the closet. It was mostly filled with band clothing and a few guitar straps. Pressed against the back was a wide glass tank, it's contents containing one of those heated stones, some sand packed into the bottom, a tree branch-like object, and a tiny cave cut out of hardened clay. Theo and Scar lay perched contently on the branch.Leo stood at the center of the room with her arms outstretched. "BAM! I never let a soul in here, not even my dad. I like my privacy. Bask in it's glory!"

"Babette dearest, that right there is the diamond on my crown of awesome. I duct taped one of my teachers to the wall at my old highschool. Sarah knows the story. Those were good days.." She looked away into the distance blissfully, only to snap back into reality as soon as her eyes fell on her instrument. "Oh but check this out!" Leo quickly ran to her guitar and went to pick it up, but remembered Ellen's warning and instead stopped dead in her tracts, merely pointing at it. She was like an excited toddler showing off all their toys to uninterested adults. It seemed to make her happy, showing off her felony and 'toys' as if they were badges of war. "This thing is like, my child man. Sebastian has never once failed to let out some of the sickest riffs you've ever heard. This one time, I spent like three hours practicing that guitar solo from Steak Baby's song Eat A Way Into Your Heart." She crouched low to touch the fabric of the checkered tie fondly, and hung her head slightly as she stood. "I guess it doesn't really matter now though. What good is a guitar if you can't play it, amirite? Haha..ha.."

((TAKE NOTE of edits a few posts back.))
Ellen seemed to take the loss of treasured things to heart. Ellen- "We'll have to get you a new guitar as well... Well, let's do this."
Sarah- "Those snakes... They're not going to like this."
Ellen took a napkin in each hand and lifted the corners of the lid on the glass tank. Sarah reached in. Leo could tell she was moving her arm in a way that seemed a little unnatural. As she did so, her arm warmed up to a snake-like temperature. Theo and Scar stood up, swayed a little, then crawled onto her arm. She took them out, and Ellen put the lid back carefully. Sarah- "You got snake-napped, brothers."

Ellen liked it. Ellen- "That's sweet Babette."
Sarah- "Tss." Then she looked at the snakes. "Whatever, I wasn't talking to you."

((Fun fact: I was originally planning on naming her guitar Vladimir, but I thought Sebastian suited her character more and sounded better. Also that snake graphic is friggin' awesome!))Babettes heartfelt words seemed to make Leo feel a teensy bit better.
"Thanks Babette. That means a lot.. You should write poetry." She shrugged when Ellen mentioned another guitar, and shoved her hands deep in her jean pockets. "Nah, don't trouble yer'self with that. No other guitar could replace Sebastian, not even Monty Lewis' stratocaster." Another Steak Baby band member, perhaps? "Oh, Sarah, Just-- I might not be the best pet owner, but just be careful with them alright? I'd flip shit if they got hurt or something.." An image of Sarah tripping on the steps and crushing Theo and Scar briefly flashed in her head, causing Leo to wince. "Super fucking careful, man."

"Never fear. I don't think a vampire of her caliber would trip in twelve inch heels. She could probably balance one hundred wiggly snakes on a serving tray." She put out a hand and mimed carrying around a wobbly tray, drawing upon years of experience as a waitress. Then, Babette took a closer look at the restraining order. Leo sure rocked the boat during her short life."Are we going to quote unquote perish in a car accident? Is that what I heard? Now, THAT is poetry. I couldn't ask for a better end. It's what I always hoped for. How did you want to depart, Leo? Skydiving accident? Bar fight?" She sounded entirely cheery, as if this subject was a normal conversation piece among friends.
