The group of new vampires tentatively emerged from the "hospital" set into a network of closed halls, no light visible from above. They had left the door to the hospital set hanging open behind them, admitting some light from that direction, and now...
Eli and August moved to the second door on the left, light coming in from under the crack. Eli tested it. It was unlocked.
Eli opened the door up slowly. Eli- "I wanna find Brent, but I almost wish everything was locked so I wouldn't have to find out what's behind here..." (ORIGINALLY...) "Well, at least this will shed some more light on the hallway..."

"I hope Brent is in there… Then what's behind the other doors don't matter so much." (ORIGINALLY...)"Not that we need it with our..condition. I hope Brent is in there…"

Eli couldn't help but take a quick step back from the door before moving up again to look inside.
The door opened onto an area with no floor. A roughly well-like structure of weathered wood about twenty feet across. About thirty feet up it was open to the warehouse ceiling and a floodlight poured in. Less than 15 feet down, there was cruddy black harbor water, with its attendant salty death smell and a large defunct machine of unknown purpose sunk within. The parts within five feet of the water were corroded and black, the upper parts painted white. The bottom of this water was not visible.
For people behind them in the hall, the open door did admit more light into the hallway. Eli- "Oh god, that's some old C.L. Stygian shit... Do not need Stagnant Reapers coming after us." (ORIGINALLY...) "Yeeeeah, I'm not swimming that. I don't see anything of import. Shall we try another?"

"Unless they're friendly stagnant reapers then they could give us a lift outta here into the briny depths." Eli turned back into the hallway and attempted one of the doors on the right. He chose the middle right door and, if it was fake, moved to the door closer to the entrance of the hallway to test that.(ORIGINALLY...) "I'm cool with that, although swimmings gonna be a breeze without breath. Let's mosey on."

The middle door was fake. Doubling back he had to walk around ((some other PC who followed them into this area)), and checked that door. It was unlocked...
August glanced into the weird well room as Eli left it. If this was a movie set - and it certainly seemed to be one in other ways - he could not imagine what this was used for.
Eli opened the next door, slowly as he had done before. Eli- " Pleasebenormalpleasebenormal..." (ORIGINALLY...) "More crap, I'm sure. Still, you never know."

"Brent?" August was still hopeful.

As the hallway was a bit too narrow to easily admit the whole crew, Cameron was still back in the hospital hall. He peered into this hall hopefully at the mention of Brent's name, but nothing.
Eli saw stairs going up... into the ceiling. The door opened directly onto a stairwell that terminated at the ceiling.
One door left in this length of hallway.
Eli opened up that last door, dreading what madness he'd find next. (ORIGINALLY...) He had no doubt it would be as nonsensical as the rest.

Ru- Ru follows the others out, and pokes around, looking for other doors to investigate. He kept towards the walls in case something large and boogy popped out at him from some random direction.

August followed Eli still hoping for signs of the missing crew member.

Ru was the first to the end of the hall, and the first to see the source of the light down there. The T-stop went left and right, and to the right, there were purple string lights stapled to the wall. The hall to the right also became unfinished abruptly - about ten feet in, the finish of the walls ended at a neat line, revealing particleboard floors, walls, and ceiling. That unfinished hall then kept going another twenty feet before turning right. The violet light diminished greatly by the time it reached that bend.
Turning to the left, Ru saw the hall stretching into the distance, with doors on either side. He couldn't make out the end in the darkness.
Eli's door opened onto a strange, bare particle board room, with a metal and vinyl seal at the entrance as if it was meant to be a small elevator, though lacking a drawgate or any operating mechanism. On the floor were a pair of rancid smelling workgloves and a pair of boltcutters so rusty they'd stained the floor and smelled like iron oxide at a distance. Eli- "I guess someone could use those boltcutters to smack a monster, but I bet the durability is quite low..." Eli took a right at the end of the hall, and looked for the next door to open.(ORIGINALLY...) "Annnnd, nothing. Again. Let's see where this hallway goes, shall we? I guess we'll start with the left." Eli turned to the end of the hallway, and took a right. If there was a door around there, he opened the first he saw.

August followed Eli and the others hoping to catch sight of Brent or a way out.
((I'm going to be gone for a good hour and a half, so August is trailing for now))

Ru- "There is more down here, but I can't see much..." He tells the others. It was becoming clear that they were in some kind of set. An old set for a movie? And where was this? "I wonder if we are in Wilhelm's property.." He mused on the possibility, it would be fitting. Eli- "Yeah, I wonder. It looked so small on the outside, but maybe we're underground... yikes." (ORIGINALLY...)
"Oh, right, you guys wouldn't have heard that. My guess is this is Marchese's, not Wilhelm's. August figured out that this was probably an old movie set, back when we first got out of our rooms. Not that there's much of a difference in that. I imagine he thought it was funny, considering he had offered the crew a new film..."

To the right, the hall went about thirty feet without doors before turning right again. It was unfinished particle board. To the left, it went on some unknown distance into blackness, and had more doors on each side. Would the party split?
If Eli went to the right, he could see there were no doors, but one way out. Would he separate from the group to explore it, or acquire tagalongs like zombie August?

"Maybe we can dig our way out then? I mean it might take some time but we've got plenty o that." (ORIGINALLY...) "It's hilarious… I just wanna die… again. I'm such a dolt for believing those guys. I shoulda realised when they wouldn't say what it was…"
