These people are seated here, underlit by an electric orb on the brocade table cloth, lit from above by cool colored chandeliers. They have champagne glasses and a bottle in the middle of the table, but don't seem very thirsty.

Anyone who might use the word 'chic' would recognize local celebrity Aubrey Greyburn, and his inimitable fashion. He looks to be in a splendid mood, languidly gazing at the passers-by. The woman sitting next to him is bored stiff, but seems to be keeping an eye on him. His servant?

Ru- "Good evening....Mr. Greyburn." Ru gestured delicately as if asking if he should seat himself before the fashionable, and of course, artistic Mr. Greyburn, with his very fashionable birdsnest hair with a bird in it. He appreciated the touch even if he was a little concerned about the dead bird. Had it been killed to become a hat piece? Should that even be a moral question for him?
He pushed that aside and smiled broadly and smoothly, his grand persona engulfing and overtaking his own nervousness. A cat's smile.

((let me know if Aubrey's font doesn't show up as Blackadder!))
Lord Greyburn- A pleasant evening indeed, young creature. Which one is this one?
Woman- "This is, uh, the one that played the vampire."
Lord Greyburn- Hahaha, a young creature indeed. We are visited by a strange being torn from the hands of God and risen from the grave?
Woman- "Seems like it."

Ru- "Quite... The vampire is one of lore and old, who wanders lonely, looking for the meaning of the indescribable thread that exists between the heart of two pure sisters. While he tears them apart physically, he cannot tear apart their love." Ru seems to like this description of his characters's strange and mysterious drives, and makes accompanying, slight gestures, as if this helps their understanding."...What will your next line be called, if I might ask, Mr. Greyburn?"

Lord Greyburn- Hehehe, a poet of old in a compact size? But I tell you, I do not make the clothes, I make the tastes. As it were.
Woman- "So yeah, I'm Ellen."
Lord Greyburn- Child, do you know of death? Does it haunt your dreams or do you seek it like a adorable fuzzy little beast waiting to be crushed under the wagon's wheels?
Ellen- " What a party."

Ru- "Ellen....Hello.... Oh no, I'm not a poet, but I am an artist... Death? I suppose I have not meditated much on death. It is something that happens to all things eventually, even the planet and the stars. Eventually I wonder, if the vampyre sees being immortal as a curse, because he does not only see other living things fade, but that which we consider immutable since the beginning of time. " What an interesting question, will you design your newest line around that theme?" Ru wondered if there were fashionable hearses in their future. OR maybe black veils. It did not seem much like Lord Greyburn to make everything so dark, but maybe that was his nature. TO CONFUSE PEOPLE about things like that, surely. Or maybe he was missing the point.

Lord Greyburn- "I make only for myself."
Ellen- "Yeah, he doesn't do a line. Anyone wearing anything like him is pretty much just imitating. He just finds this stuff around the attic."
Lord Greyburn- "There's all manner of things to be found in one's attic, one must only expand one's mind to imagine what could be affixed to one's body."
Ellen- " He does that pretty well."
Lord Greyburn- "You amuse with these pontifications. Of course the vampire feels the curse, as he is cursed from the start. To be apart from God is the true hell, and he will never let you forget it. Always he will poke at you with sticks and jab them under your fingernails. Terrible... Terrible..."
Ellen- "Err-- soo, back to fashion?"

Ru- "I'm quite an attic diver myself. This is an antique. My grandfather's. The fit isn't exact but I tailored it myself. Nothing compared to your current fashions though..." Ru was quick to change the subject before Mr. Greyburn flipped his lid. He was a little concerned with the way that these subjects are going."I like to meditate on the beauty of the world, and the good within my friends and family..." Greyburn sure did have a lot of thoughts about vampires..."Are you a vampire expert? We could use this kind of coaching for our next film. It would be nice to know more about the lore from one more experienced."

Lord Greyburn- "A generous offer! I have made my own films as well, just recently! I don't know how to put them on the wall any more. Ellen, how do we put it on the wall?"
Ellen- "We can't show it right now, Dad. They're still on the old reel-to-reel. I had to tape it together just to get it playing the other night."
Lord Greyburn- "It's hard to make them hold still in front of the camera. It's better for them to be in the chair."
Ellen- "Daaad..."
Lord Greyburn- "There was never this problem with the still capture, but what a delight to see them, writhing, stretched before you, all encompassing..."
Ellen- "Um, maybe we should have a little breather. So to speak..."

Ru- "... Ah, you really are a poet.. Of course. Do you want me to leave you both at peace?" He inspects them both thoughtfully, and looks about as if wondering if he should leave them at Ellen's request. "I don't want to cause any upset."

Lord Greyburn- "Peace?! There is no peace for the likes of us, burning child!"
Ellen- "Yeeah, maybe so, nice talking to you though-- Hey Dad, your bird is on crooked?"
Lord Greyburn- "What?! Oh-- fix it! Fix it!" Ellen gave Ru a tight smile and pretended to arrange Aubrey's hair.

Ru- "...Oh, thank you. It was good to meet you, I am sorry for any problems I may have caused." Ru ducked away and went to go join the loiterers for now, looking for someone else to chat with. He couldn't help but feel he caused some of that awkwardness.

This table is open, though I'm sure not for long...

Jason ambled on over with a smile. He was more than content to be away from Table 5. Dragomir had unfortunately taken Jason over the edge; even though he wish he had more time to converse with the others over at that table. He was delighted to see more of a... delightful table. Hopefully the people will be as enjoyable as his first impression. He introduced himself with a smile as he pulls up a chair."It's a pleasure to meet you both-especially you Lord Greyburn. You both seem like a couple of nice people."
