"Both valid answers. Why'd ya pick Dr.PinkPink though, Jack? I think her lyrics are pretty self explanatory..." (( GM-Dr. PinkPink is a lady, but not necessarily Gaga.))

Jack- "Yeah, they're simple, but it's just like, she's just so artistic and, it just like, speaks to me. I know everyone says that, but it's just ... art. You know? Art."
Vitus- "Yeah, that makes sense."

August was impressed, Jack was really deep. “Nah, I get it. That's what art's all about. It's subjective, it's what speaks to you. It's like a nose on a rock if other people don't like it. Of course if you're a film maker, ya kinda want it to speak to other people too. It's a tightrope alright! So either y'all got a funky question for me?” (( No worries, I'll note that shiz. ))

Jack- "Those movies Vitus likes - they're always not having anything happening in them. Do you have things happening in your movie? Like do people talk or kick things?"
Vitus- "..."

“Of course, things happen. Lychgate was the story of a vampire hunting two beautiful virgin sisters. He sets them trials of earth, air and blood. My other was an allegory to male sexuality called “Go!”. It was a bit more expressionistic in practice, it only went for five minutes though. I don't know... a film where people just kick things and talk? Doesn't sound so bombaroo. Although I think all things people do has an element of art to it. What kind of film would ya make if you had the chance to?”

Vitus- "Intriguing... Well, it could just be due to the subject being in the air at the moment, but I'm inclined to say I would adapt a piece of classic literature. Maybe The Tarsian Decameron, if that's not too much of a cultural appropriation. To make it really different from other adaptations, I'd try to be extremely true to the spirit and content of the book, but without sacrificing the domains of the visual and auditory that bring people to cinema in the first place."
Jack- "...Yeah. I think I'd do an action movie. It would be like, buddy cops or something, but they're sexy, and they make out."
Vitus- "I don't believe that's been done."
Jack- "I know."

"Cool ideas guys. When I asked that Demetri fellow, he just said a tragic romance. Poor guy, must have been a rough break up. So Vitus, ya really like the old time stuff huh? What about bringing it into the fresh and modern? Oh I know! You could combine your two ideas, they could be time travelling cops! Although, I'm not sure how much crime bustin' they'd do if they're pashing all the time… So, ya wanna ask me anymore questions?"

Jack- "..."
Vitus- "I think I'm good."
Jack- "So, Antearctos. I heard your first year of primary school they give you a gun at the door. Is that true? Did you bring any in your luggage?"
Vitus- "Don't be silly, Jack. Of course that isn't true."
Is it?

August chuckled."Naw, course not. They only get pellet guns, gotta learn how to shoot straight first. Don't want any nasty accidents. Of course my mate shot potato up his nose once, what a come gutser! Bleeding terrible. Got off school for a week." August touched his pendant wistfully."I didn't bring my pony, Glenland has too many darn rules on that. How ya suppose to protect yourself? I go down to the rifle range instead. Nice blokes there."

Vitus- "Hm."
Jack- "Wow, have you ever shot anyone?"
Vitus- "Er, um, come on now, let's, er, practice some cultural understanding?"
Jack- "It's a legitimate question. People have guns, what are they going to do with them otherwise?"
Vitus- "They're for sport, right? It's a sporting thing."

"It's cool, I used to think all Glennish people were pansies and drank nothing but tea. My folks still do. I've never shot a soul. I'm vegan so it's all clay pigeons and targets for me. There's been a couple close calls but I'm a pretty good shot if I do say so myself. Shot a few apples off a head to impress the girls. Glennish girls aren't so keen, the rifle range isn't such a bombaroo date spot in Harland."

Jack- "So why did you come to Glenland? I mean it's probably just boring to me because I've never been anywhere else..."
Vitus- "How can you say that about these verdant shores?"
Jack- "..."

"Glenland is plenty beautiful. The art scene is just brilliant in it's diversity. I just love the underground film festivals. I do miss home though. You should fly down to Antearctos, it's dazzling. The folks are friendly as…mostly. Unfortunately for my dreams, it just doesn't have the cultural background needed and it's art schools are kinda lacking. So I applied for a scholarship to BADA and here I am. I''m out to change the way people view Antearctan culture!" August stood up from the table a bit reluctantly. "I can honestly say y'all both have been really fun to talk to, but I'd better mosey on. I hope we get to talk more later. Have a great night guys!"

Jack- "...Yeah, you too."
Vitus- "Yes."
Hambalos ambled along, and shortly thereafter, a wild Jason approached...

As he approached, the men looked up and waited for him to get a little closer before saying anything. He glanced over at a shot of rum sitting on a nearby table. He sighed...maybe he was an alcoholic and maybe he needed help. He approached the table with a smile.Jason- " Is this seat taken?"
Blonde- "No, go ahead. I'm Vitus and this is Jack. You were, erm, Jason?"
Jack- "Hey."
Jason- "That's me. And its a pleasure to meet you both."
Vitus- "Likewise."
Jack- "What he said. Cool tattoo."
Vitus- "And that nose, erm, thing. Very fierce."
Jason- Jason lightly chuckled. "Thanks. I've had that tattoo and this bridge piercing for a couple years now. I plan on being buried with them," he said jokingly. The dudes looked mad awkward. Even though Jason was feeling a little too drunk, a drink was calling to him.Vitus- "Erm, let's see if we can avoid burials anytime soon, huh?"
Jack- "Let's ... change the subject. So, you look pretty young. Are you in college?"
Jason- "I'm nine-teen and soon to be twenty. And yeah, you could say that I'm I college guy."
Vitus- "What's your college? We don't want to accidentally offend your school pride."
Jason- " I go to Harlan University. And don't worry, there's nothing you could say about that school that would possibly offend me."
Vitus- "The fieldball is pretty dominant, right?"
Jason- " I suppose. I can't see why it wouldn't be. But, I don't really keep track of things like that; feildball seems to not interest me as much as it does everyone else."
Jack- "I don't even remember which one fieldball is. I guess there's a field and a ball involved, so I've been told."
Jason- " That's exactly what it is- just a field, a ball, and a bunch of guys running around. Not much else to it."
Vitus- "No, really, there's the art of the game. It's changed a lot over time, gotten really sophisticated. You just have to--"
Jack- "Yeah, it's cool and stuff. You get nice hats, we totally understand. Anyway, what are you studying? I know a lot of people don't even decide on a major."
Jason- "I'm studying the art of the human body and some sciences. I've decided to become a medical illustrator as a career."
Jack- "Huh. Wonder if that's good work?"
Vitus- "A lady told me that all walks of commercial art are being decimated by the economic situation. No one wants to pay for good work these days. They feel like they can get away with recycling public domain art... But maybe you'll find a good deal somewhere. They say the future is on the cyberspace."
Jack- "*snort*"
Jason- "Don't believe everything that people say. What you said is true in some aspects but in others you're wrong. Any artist can get far in today's society as long as you know what the people are looking for in the art world. I'm not about to let some economic situation decide my future. Money is just a worthless object that people use to get by in life."
Jack- "..."
Vitus- "Hrm. Well, it's just what a lady told me. Ladies tell me lots of things."
Jack- "I'm sure they do."
Vitus- "So, my turn to ask a question? Jason, um... Oh, I don't know. What do you think about the ladies? Or gents."
Jason- "I'm pan-sexual. I don't prefer one over the other. Its usually the personality that wins me over."
Vitus- "Wow. That's very magnanimous of you."
Jack- "Modern notions are beyond him."
Jason- "It's cool. Not much bothers me."
Vitus- "Did I say something wrong?"
Jack- "Naw, naw. So, any more questions for us?"
Jason- "Not that I know of. Do you have any more questions for me?"
Vitus- "I guess we're ready to move on... Do you feel OK?"
Jason- "Yeah..yeah. I'll feel better once my drunken stupor vanishes. Do I not look okay?"
Vitus- "Just getting the heavy eyelids... Well, good luck."
Jason- ''Same goes for you." Jason makes his way off to the beverage table attempting to avoid the bar of alcohol.
