Ashley- Ashley had decided that unless that car thing had a third eye, they weren't going to be easily found, and right now Alex was more important. With any luck, they could run the thing into the damned cannibal pastor if they needed to.
He trotted as fast as he could without slipping on the trail, plowing the way forward. It couldn't be that far. He thought of shouting but it would give away their position. It was better just to lose the thing and hope for the better.
Ashley continued on quietly, hoping there wasn't more waiting for them.

For a moment, you thought you heard Alex yelling something. The tracks were easy to follow - first through down a lane of stubby warehouses, then into a dead end alley with small but overgrown trees keeping snow - and tracks - off the ground.
But this close, you heard more of Alex's voice, and new exactly where to go.
((Tell me how Micah and Ashley plan to enter the building, then I'll intro you to the other thread. Brett's Patti battle stays in this thread.))

Ashley- Ashley eyes the building, and then looks over at Micah."We should have one of us come in the front, and one in the back if we can. It may help surround him and surprise us with our numbers." He offers Micah some of the WD-40 and a flare.

Micah had freaking a little at the crunching sounds from the car-mageddon beast but it was forgotten when he heard Alex's yells. At least the guy was still alive, that was comforting and now they knew where he was.
He nodded, shrugging at Ash and took the flammable stuff with trepidation. "Uh okay, I guess we can try for surprise. You're the fucking policeman, man." Micah gave a little salute, it was only partially sarcastic.

Ashley- An idea comes to mind within Ashley's head, and he frowns once."Actually, back me up in the front door. He's going to attack us or Alex once we break in, and I may need to have you right there to get him. We aren't going to be able to draw him out, and I don't want to light this house on fire, but if we get in there quickly we can help Alex himself." Ashley looks for a door that looks promising. We're coming Alex.

Patti threw the transmission into drive and accelerated forward, trusting the four wheel drive to do its job. She shot forward with minimal sliding and aimed to clip the thing while it was off balance (above the ground) with her front passenger side quarter panel. She was hoping an oblique impact like that would not trigger the airbags.
If we're sticking with the original roll, it was... a 19? Otherwise, I can give you a new roll (which would be coincidentally another 19) .

((Jara & Indea, read my last two posts at BallCannMiss2 & then start posting there.))
Meanwhile, Patti could barely manage the timing of this all, and hit the thing more solidly than she'd hoped. FUCKIN AIRBAGS! At least because she expected them, she didn't get a broken nose. It was a marvelous distraction from the burning in her whole trachea / esophagus area. She felt her SUV lose traction, spinning along the snow and ice in a fortunately upright position.
After the instant of impact, the thing was silent for a moment, making a satisfying crunch and tumble only when it hit the ground. But before her SUV even stopped spinning, she heard the twist and shriek of its more unnatural movements starting up again.
((Tell me how she gets rid of the airbag and we'll resume the vehicular combat!))

Patti slapped the deflating bag down so she could see again out the window. She shifted into reverse as quickly as she could, in hopes of striking it off balance. She was hoping desperately that there wasn't excessive frame damage or anything else that would keep her vehicle from moving.
Unmodified die roll 3. OH NOES!!

When she shifted into reverse, she hadn't quite stopped skidding yet and lost traction again - no control of the vehicle! By the time she had any traction at all, it was time to dodge a cartoonish pro-wrestling-style bodyslam from a motherflippin' possessed car.
((Roll to dodge, -4 if you don't just ditch out of the SUV, +2 (as in -2 from your usual) if you hop out.))

Patti didn't waste time with shifting, she just took her foot off of the gas pedal. She pulled the door handle and attempted to eject herself from the vehicle before it got slammed.

((Holy shit, Brett. I just got a natural 1 at random.org. Defenders win, baby. Kelly can vouch for that shits even.))
Patti barely got out of the SUV in time, the monstrous wreckination happening mere inches from her body as she clumsily fell in the snow. Scrambling to her feet and getting out of the way, it seemed like the car was too distracted right that second to notice her, as it thrashed on the SUV with hellish fury. It looked like it was beating itself apart at the same time.

Patti scrambled through the slushy but quickly freezing snow. She glanced back at the hot mess of twisting metal. This was far more intense than a high speed collision, the force of the attacking vehicle was like several high speed collisions repeating. Maybe she had watched too many movies, but on a whim she lit a road flare (it was the second to last one in her shell pouch) and threw it under the SUV, in hopes that it might ignite fuel from a smashed fuel tank.
10+4=14 for the throw.

The flare neatly rolled beneath the Jerry Bruckheimer-styled ugly metal chaos, but didn't have an immediate effect. Nonetheless, it seemed most prudent to get the hell out of there. Did she go back to Davin, just try to get into the nearest car-proof structure or cover, or try to get back to the tracks her friends left in the snow & see about helping them?

Patti headed back towards the church. Davin was alone and who knew what else might be running around this neighborhood. She moved quickly and stayed close to buildings as she went.

Getting to the building, she looked down in the Davin hole. Davin- "Patti? ... heh, you *uff* look like a big puffball..."
