Are we ready folks? LET'S DO EET!
Since Christopher made me feel like a POS about my word count, I'm raising my goal to 65k so we can add back a dose of competition. We're in it to win it, guys, let's go!

whut whut no argg anyway, my wildest fantasy is to surge ahead of where i am and finish the word count today, so i can start editing early. i'll settle for just getting comfortably ahead of where I'm supposed to be. Since last marathon was the first time all month that I reached the count I'm supposed to have, it seems like this time I should be able to add to that.

Does anyone else find themselves accidentally making up words? For some reason my brain thought unasseaming is a word, spellcheck's opinion on it was amusing.
EDIT: Are you guys hanging out on the IRC at all?

@ Indea-- I do it all the time, or incessantly reuse words. I think I've said 'debris' aprox 10k times at least. We don't have an IRC atm, but I would love to! Does anyone know how to do it?

I don't want to think about how much I've used the word 'seeming' or 'bizarre', I've come to realise how much I apparently love that word like almost as much as the word 'like' ;D. We can just use the SUBPAR IRC but I have no idea how to make one especially.

kelly i dug up the link to go to irc using the web instead of a special program: darkmyst.org/?page=webchat change channel name to #SUBPAR and away u go. Myself, I think I gotta stay out of there to make my count.

I'm almost half way on my target for today, closing in on 16,000. I'm dream sequencing it all over the place. I'm going to reach 17,000 if I have to use all Lou Reed's song hahaha.

What is the public feeling on bearded dwarf women? Cast your votes here!

I used to be against it, but I'm more cool with gender non-conformity now. Still... That's not why it was written that way. Fantasy racism cuts the good guy races too, just not as bad as the eebil ones like orcs and goblins. So I dunno...
Also. Ugh. tired...xddv'fe;vfci

They don't have to be typically ugly either, like this bearded lady from Carnivale. WHOOOOO!! I have temporarily caught up to Deek in percentages, whether it be merely an illusion, I shall enjoy my temporary triumph.

*shakes pompoms* go everyone!
I love how the bearded lady's beard is in a little curl. So cute!

Now I'm thinking about a different variation on the dwarven lady beard thing. Perhaps, just perhaps, the dwarven ladies do not have beards, but when they have their dwarven bat mitzvah, they take to wearing a (Egyptian style) postiche.
