Here live Sister Blaze and her make-shift clinic. Within she keeps vigil over her patient, who lays in a nearby cot, supported with fluids and a heated electric blanket.
He mutters to himself while turning.
"No...no! Black eyes, no eyes...NO! All going to die..." He mutters over and over again. It is hard to say what or who he is talking about, if anyone.
Sister Blaze watches him sleep fitfully, reading as she waits for the return of the brave adventurers.

Molly stepped into the room - she carried two glasses of water that had been flavored with sprigs of mint.[/i] "It's not cold, but this is for you, Sister." She offered one glass to Sister Blaze and sipped from the other, while leaning against the wall.[/i] " Is he going to be all right?"

Sister Blaze: "That isn't something I can discuss in front of a patient, but it depends on how well our friends do. I will not blame them if the trip is too dangerous, but he could definitely use the help." She accepts the glass gingerly and sips it, leaning back against her chair. "Are you afraid of the outside world?" Chen: "It hurts...burning..." He shakes, and then opens his eyes. "...You. It's light outside." The light seems to relieve him, and his face relaxes somewhat. He seems sickly pale, something she would not have noticed if she had not been familiar with appropriate skin shades.

" Obviously, Sister, it's scary outside." She sat on the floor next to Chen and took his hand.[/i] "Oh, yes, today's a bright and beautiful day. Say, how about I read him something nice like The Wind in the Willows? It's calming. Would you like that, young man?"

The man squirms almost uncomfortably, and but seems too tired to do anything besides shift a little.
"You don't understand, its outside, watching us... It's waiting and going to grab you through the wall with invisible hands!"
He seems distressed, and starts to hyperventilate.

"No, no, shh! It's safe!" Molly jumped upright and peeked out the window. The goats were playing on a decorative granite rock, and Sister Isa tossed feed at a cluster of chickens.
[/i] "No invisible thing there. The animals are too carefree. They have a sixth sense about monsters." She returned to his bedside.
[/i] "What hurt you? A zombie with no eyes? I know you're trying to warn us, but we just don't understand."

The man pants, and then seems to calm down, though he remains somewhat mentally dull and sleepy. "...They look like people, but they aren't..They're monsters. Strong monsters. Like vampires." He tries to explain, but seems to not be entirely articulate. The subject gave him great agitation. "

"Vampires?" She gave Sister Blaze a significant look, one that was vaguely frightened but mostly weary.[/i] "I'm not surprised. Whatever they are, we'll fight. You just worry about healing, young man." She took out a book.
[/i] "Listen, now. Just imagine the animals being peaceful and happy. Mole had been working very hard all the morning, spring-cleaning his little home. First with brooms, then with dusters ..."

He grunts and closes his eyes, and then rolls over on his other side.
"Uhh, that's a nice thought...but... we're all going to die soon. The monsters are going to kill us, I think."

A few nights later...Rob was trying getting his wounds checked up on again by Sister Blaze for the fourth time. The fight had torn raking holes in his clothing. Luckily it had not occurred anywhere unsightly, though he definitely needed new attire now. He liked to think it made him look like a romance novel hero but a hobo was probably more accurate. He consoled himself by imagining it was Charlie Chaplin-esque. “Are you sure there isn't anything else you can do, Sister? I'm worried about any permanent scarring, I mean damage... And who knows what kind of poison or disease that creature had under her nails...”

Sister Blaze- "It looks a little swollen, but nothing so terrible...It looks inflamed, but a man your age shouldn't have permanent scarring with such a little scratch. And look, it's not even too deep, you'll be fine. I flushed it with water. Take these for the next fourteen days. One in the morning, one at night, with food. It's an antibiotic that should help." She pats his shoulder."You do a good job to protect us who are unable to protect ourselves..."

Rob appreciated the second or was it third look at his wounds? He took the bottle gingerly, he considered it for a moment.“Thanks, it's the least I can do Sister Blaze. We couldn't do it if you weren't here to patch us up. You've all made me feel at home despite being a complete stranger, dressed as a priest no less. I can't take these, save them for when we really need them. Goodnight mam.” He handed them back and left the room with a smile before he changed his mind.

Sister Blaze- "Goodnight Robert, sleep well, I hope the medication helps you feel less uncomfortable.." She watches after him, and then shakes her head, and gets back to what she was doing. What was she doing after all?

Sister Blaze- Sister Blaze walks up the stairs, somewhat slowly, and enters her room, holding the door open. She examines Rob again, and then asks him somewhat frankly; "How much do you weigh?" Thanks to their previous mission they do have a limited supply of anesthetic drugs, though not many and certainly not enough for full anesthesia, so there is a bit of picking and choosing to do. "Any history of kidney, liver or heart problems?" The room appears to have been set up as a kind of Spartan hospital, rather than a woman's room, and her personal items have all been completly moved to one side. Chen's old bed sits across from hers, a cot placed in permanent partial recumbancy.

Rob went and lay gently on the bed, he would have just collapsed but he didn't want to give the monster an excuse to move." About *normal weight for a man of his height and muscle mass*, Sister Blaze. No problems with my hearrt, liveer or kidneys. He gently closed his eyes, willing the world to go away."कृपया मुझे देवताओं को सुरक्षित रखें. मैं मरना नहीं चाहता. I'm ready Sister…"
