Wolf was getting desperate and he had only one idea how he could maybe stop the thing from moving. He switched to the blade and began carving into the neck, intent on removing the head completely.
He retched repeatedly, fighting back the urgent need to vomit.[/i] [dice=20] [dice=20] [dice=20] A few random die rolls for anything that comes up after I go to bed. Anya hesitated with her second blow, the demon had struck a nerve. Was this guy some person's little brother? He'd looked old in the dentist, she doubted it. A small part of her thought about trying to knock the demon out without killing him. However, the strongest part in her saw it as a threat to her adopted family, it had to be put down. She took another swing aiming for the head. "I think 'pops' will very very disappointed with you . You'll be seeing him real soon." To Wolf: Wolf was able to get through the front of the neck much more easily than the back, and then it became a chore. Unless he was particularly experienced with removing animal heads from their bodies, he may ineffectively saw at the vertebral bodies, rather than be able to guide his knife efficiently through the ligamentous attachments. However, he rolled well enough (roll 2), that he was able to figure it out with a lot of frantic sawing).
A horrible moment, and the head fell right off.
plop smack.
The blood inside was still bright red and coursed out freely onto the carpeted floor.To Anya: The young man looked anywhere between 15-30, it was hard to tell because of his small size and the shape of his face. If they hadn't known better he might have been a little woman instead from his physical appearance.
He shrieked but the blow missed him. Still, the first caused blood to leak from a cut in his head and bruising started to blossom around the place where she had struck him the first time."Oh Anya, Anya please stop it hurts! You're going to kill me... One day you'll see my sister and you'll have to tell her why you hurt me... Oh Anya, I'll come back again in a new body and send them ALL TO HELL!" He turns to Breg: "Little Catholic schoolgirl, don't you want to go to hell? I bet inside you're just a boring athiest... come on, where did I come from if not HELL ? HREHEHEHEHE" He giggles and tries to fling the gun out of Breg's hands and into his face. [dice=20] He then makes gun fingers and says "bang bang" moving the furniture in the room accordingly to try to strike our heros. (everyone roll for that) [dice=20] Breg looks at the situation and decides now is the time for action. "Don't shoot anyone!" He tries to take off his coat and catch up that demon with it. He was so little, it couldn't be THAT hard could it? "We know how to exorcise! Maybe we can save him!" [dice=20] "We didn't survive this long to be ruthless cutthroats like the rest of them!"[rand=1368884583935141677387425350025356105601415038119535275348462164]

"Breg, no ..." Molly knew that Breg and the nuns had good intentions, but they weren't living a scene from The Exorcist.[/i] "We can't do ANYTHING if he keeps throwing furniture!" [dice=20+3] One of the heavy cherry wood chairs flew past Wolf, who deftly lunged out of the way. Directly into a second chair.
The chair hit him squarely, with one of the legs scoring a particularly brutal hit on his kidney. He fell to the ground, limbs tangled in with the chair legs.
He groaned audibly and struggled to get back on his feet.[/i][rand=0283093490334370794571977428467470215152121832646875047616532169177]

Breg managed to throw the cloth over the eyes of the demon, and his furniture began to miss. The big man tried to subdue him by wrestling, but he was far too strong, and wrenched himself about violently to try to escape, making unnatural cracking and popping noises the entire time. [dice=20] ' The demon squirmed and then jumped on the ceiling like a spider, skittering across the ceiling and towards the second floor, pushing the cloth off its head![dice=20] [rand=4246500025037676101585799362510449002650135662407606820942601189]

The demon was going upstairs! Lord, no! What would happen if he unleashed a telekinetic whirlwind around Caleb, Chen, and Sister Isa? Just as alarming: how many nuns believed in hell? Surely most of them!
[/i] "Oh, NO YOU DON'T! Come BACK here, monster!" Molly slipped out of her pencil skirt (it was a size too small, honestly) and chased the demon with surprising quickness. She leaped over Greg's headless body, as if jumping a hurdle, and continued up the stairs. Demon Greg's head snickered and cursed while his body thrashed on the ground.[/i] "REEEHEHEHE! Lucky jump, Molly. Okay, who's next? I promise not to trip you!" (Roll for Molly's speed = [dice=20])[rand=549825901302397606087304111671143222801251302169572613742893402]

Molly manages to catch up with that NAUGHTY demon boy, right before he runs into Sister Sylvia upstairs."What the hell?!" Molly hears a cry from upstairs, and the demon gravitates towards the sound. "ANOTHER NUN FOR FUN, HOW ABOUT A PIECE OF ME HUH? I'm sure a LOOKER, maybe we can get a bit of action going!! And just in time to call a friend!" Molly tackled the demon and wrapped her arms around his neck. The monster's skin felt cool, like a dead thing.
[/i] "Don't let him reach the second floor! Sylvia, protect Chen!" As she grappled with the demon, Molly mentally prepared for a world of hurt. She was a writer, not a fighter!
[/i] "I'm coming! AGH what is that thing?!" Sylvia readies the weapon, and holds it straight out towards the demon in the blanket, before raising her golf club up in the air. [dice=20] "Do you have it Molly?" [rand=26381314639002085804727809969335809945533634163439552677922649309]

Anya was about to try for another blow when the furniture began hurtling towards her. She tried to dodge a chair that came hurtling towards her.[dice=20] She was so busy dodging that by the time she recovered, the thing was skittering up the wall towards the second floor. Her stomach felt like she'd swallowed led. She felt almost frozen with fear.[dice=20+2] [dice=20] (( For Greg demon jumping))
((Dice rolls willing she'll race up after Molly))

Demon Greg nuisance roll = [dice=20] Greg's body grasped for Anya's leg but missed! She was able to catch up with Molly and the dentist demon immediately after the tackle.

Anya managed to catch up with the dentist-office demon, and Molly maintained her hold for now. The demon squirms, and bucks, and tries to make eye contact with the others, but can't seem to manage for the present."Careful!" Sylvia cries, as she begins to flail downwards at the form that Molly has caught with her golf club. She does her best not to hit Molly too. [dice=20+3] "Ouch ooch! I'm feeling weak...WITH HUNGER, you know just how to touch me don't you my dears!" He giggles even as Sylvia is probably caving in his face under there. "Is...he dead?" He asks, panting. He didn't imagine, even if the body was still alive, anyone would want to live with a face that was as pummeled as his probably was at this given moment. Wolf finally got back to his feet. Almost everyone else was upstairs at this point and he was at the bottom with Greg's twitching corpse and cackling head.
He grabbed the head up by the hair and threw it out the shattered door. He grabbed one of the legs and swung the body away from the base of the stairs.
[dice=20+3]
The swing dropped the body onto its belly, where it promptly popped up to hands and knees and began crawling around, grasping blindly. He could hear the head yelling from outside.
He grabbed for one of the shelves and tried to overturn it onto the moving corpse.
[dice=20]
The shelf tipped unevenly and pivoted partially on a corner before falling away from where he was aiming. His frustration was mounting and instead he just started stomping on the thing's joints in order to immobilize it.

The body flopped around like a marionette, somehow able to move despite the broken joints. It clawed and punched, but Wolf blocked or dodged the blows, as they came.
Suddenly (and strangely), the head's shouts became muffled; then, just as suddenly, they were quiet. Its body still thrashed, but the motions were more aimlessly violent than purposeful.

"A one man party is just so boring!" said the mangled face under Molly somewhere. "I was hoping to make some friends but none of you folks were interested. I'm hurt. All those atheists, where's the god-loving religion to put some fear into you? Well, I'll be going now, but don't worry, I'll come back with my crew when the party starts warming up!" He giggles, and tries to escape them, back out the window for now, throwing a last cabinet at the three of them in the hallway. [dice=20] (for escape) [dice=20] (for throwing bookshelves at them) [dice=20] (for engaging Sister Sylvia before he goes.) "HEHRRHEHEHE." Breg took a swing at it with his ax. An atheist he wasn't and that thing couldn't get away! Sister Sylvia tries to evade it as if it's on fire, and gives it a good swing. [dice=20] It contacts the demon, who doesn't seem to mind being hit by a golf club terribly much. He skitters away with parting words. "I'll see you all soon. You can't survive in here, and we are eternal." [rand=561803126009181109822480776347228063878735993057002742104697972536]
