These spooky, utterly vacant offices and storefront are on the northernmost of the three segments of El Corazon's building. It's accessible from the outside, but rather than be seen by zombies going in, the enclave gets to it via the rooftops, and enters the hatch atop it.
Micah followed Brian slowly down to the vacant offices. He had thought it’d be some harmless reasonably lit room that entailed said thing of cool. The dark vacant offices were not it, although given the fucking apocalypse and his luck, he should have expected it.
The vacant offices seemed almost like catacombs in their post-apocalyptic state. The few shards of light about the place caught dust particles in their thousands, floating like tiny insects caught in an endless cycle. His heart started thumping in his chest, he looked nervously at Brian. What was his game plan, lure Micah into the office for what? He’d hoped to finally get lucky or something…
He was reminded of some saying about counting chickens before they hatched or something.
He shuddered slightly.
"So ah..What's down here exactly?"
He glanced nervously around again.

Brian- "Huh? Oh yeah, the cool thing. It's not here, it's in my pants. HEYO! Hahaha. But for real. It's just more private here, I thought. If you just wanna talk or something, that's cool too but um, yeah."
He plopped on a dusty desktop, sending up little particles to dance around in the late afternoon light filtering in from taped over windows. There was a distant soundtrack of vague acoustic funk music and genial conversation and laughter.
Doesn't matter much to me, as long as it's skeletons.
Micah finished shoving the last of his clothing back on in the dimming light. The sudden daunting realization of time hit him. Fuck, Alex was probably in the lobby with the others chucking a fit about it. He grinned sheepishly to himself, he should feel bad about keeping them, but fuck it, he didn't.
A slight grin came creeping on his lips again. He glanced over at Brian apologetically.
"Uh sorry to rush off but it's fucking late and the others will be waiting for me to go. Alex is pretty freaked about getting possessed again. It was really fucking awesome by the way. Did you ah want to help me find them?"
Micah sat down on the desk in the relative murk of the offices. He wasn't quite sure he'd made the best decision but fuck it. He just hoped that Alex wouldn't land himself in trouble in the mean time. It didn't look good for them leaving before dark. None of the El Corazon people seemed fazed by the whole thing, so it wasn't undiplomatic that was for sure. Micah tried to brush any paranoia from his mind, they were no Panpac for sure, no one here was going to point a gun at him.
“So..what exactly did lead to Jordan getting put in charge? What exactly does he do, apart from smile way too fucking much?”

Brian lit a brazier that someone had left in the room previously. The beige environment went orange in the flame's light. The powerful young guy leaned against the cubicle wall. It struck Micah that Brian didn't sit down as often as most people.
Brian- "Jordan was just really good with people. When the kids were in charge, Bobby argued with people sometimes, and Kyle had a hard time getting along with our Christians. People wanted it put to a vote, and he was already helping the place so much that he didn't even have to nominate himself."
Micah felt somewhat uneasy that he was the only one sitting, but he chalked it up to Brian being a dancer. They were pretty weird people, he'd heard from a chick on the Amsterdam that some female dancers ate toilet paper to fill their stomachs, ugh. He kicked slightly at the desk trying to ignore his growing hunger, and the slight awkwardness of being in a room with someone whose thoughts were drifting elsewhere.
“How has he helped the place exactly? I mean no offense but things are lacking quite a fucking lot in certain respects, you can't live off fucking granola bars and shit. Uh otherwise it's fucking awesome, don't get me wrong err.”
Micah scratched his head. If they couldn't make it appear from nothing, could they make it appear out of something else? Human flesh? Nah...although... no, just fucking no.
“Uh huh...well like I kinda said it before.. but if you guys need help, I'm sure 403 can chip in. We non-demony types have to fucking stick together. So what mad fucking skills do you bring to El Corazon?”
He really hoped it was something really normal, well normalish given the circumstances.
Brian's words niggled at a few of Micah's insecurities and brought back memories of the siege. The ghost hadn't chosen anyone else to call a pussy, and his uncle had certainly had a few things to say on that matter. Micah had always decided that it was the men who needed to play butch all the fucking time that had the most insecurities, he mostly believed it. He pushed these tangents away to reply without embarrassing himself completely.
"Haha, yeah it must feel good. Unfortunately, I don't think even my dog fucking respects me . So a lot zombie beating, or is it more keeping those darn kids in line?"

Brian- "Aww! Sweetie, you're totally worthy of respect. You should really consider Satanism. It cheers me up sometimes when I'm feeling self-doubts and stuff... Oh, just zombies! Even when Bobby was getting in fights, it was just yelling. Everybody's real nice."
