Ashley turned and nodded towards the others, though he kept a side turned towards their ghost friends and made sure he was between them and the others. He'd never know when the others would need back-up. He waited for Joe to lead them onwards into the brave new world. And why shouldn't they? He'd never seen so many ghosts.
He kept a sword and flare pointed in that direction, eyes averted.

"Keep close and keep moving."
Patti pushed forward, tearing the flare loose from her vest, popping the top and igniting the pink fluorescence. She led the way towards the exit (she hoped) and brandished her flare if anything drew too close.

Ben replied on the radio.
Ben's Voice- "*tsst* Rear here. The others went in af*tsst* you. Did you meet u*tsst*?"
Joe- "Seth, Kyle, Stevie, copy?"
It was weird, this room full of things that could cause death with a touch, and they were doing alright for themselves. The ghosts moved like something between Butoh dancers and lazy goldfish, so that was helpful. The light drew nearer and nearer...
Stevie caught a face full of ghost.
He almost staggered right into it, staring straight into its eyes.

Stevie torched the ghost - too busy in the moment to notice something rather unusual had happened. The fighters came out the southwest entrance, immediately meeting over a dozen zombies.
Ben's Voice on Radio- "*Tsst* Affirmative. They're with you? Cop*tsst*?"
Joe- "Copy. We're gonna run by you, be ready to fall in, over!"
Nobody gave an order, but it seemed obvious it was a bad idea to engage them, with the potential of ghosts coming up from behind during the fight. The group bullied its was up the sidewalk, uphill toward Ben's location on the plaza.
