Beef goes home to see his parents after being gone for so long, and tries to convince them to move again. This place just isn't worth staying after all this cult nonsense. He also becomes bestest best friends with Ian, even if he did do sexy stuff with that Jen bitch. He takes time to mourn the loss of their friends and fellow students, and makes a little memorial for all of them, and becomes better friends with those involved in the events, if they chose to go that path. He also decides he no longer likes either horror movies or metal and all covers entailed, and makes his mother very happy by changing to bland button-up shirts and a flatter hairstyle.

James got all eated up by the cloth world in a flurry burp of white. He hopes to come back as a ghost and haunt poor Izzy for the rest of her life. He is now a cautionary tale for those considering wearing a Friday jumper on a Monday. Wearing day appropriate clothing is a serious matter, and not one to be overlooked casually. Ye have been warned...

Mona was done hanging out with Leah. She was never all that close to Leah, so neither of them will really notice the change. Her new best friend, who she legitimately considered a friend, was Rudi. She was younger, but so mature and smart and loyal. She did whatever she could to help Rudi combat Megan's monsters, whatever it took. Whatever it took so that Rudi would never go away. She told her mom that her music is more important to her than college and that she wants to go to Juilliard. She talked her way onto the school orchestra, where she helped the teacher learn how to compose and conduct for the classical guitar. She played and sang at Julie's funeral, sending her off in style.

Leon gets a ride home from Ian, and manages to limp his way up to the door all on his own with the help of a big stick he had picked up in the marsh (unless, of course, Albert still wanted to be a crutch, in which case...) His mother throws a fit when she answers the door - at first shrieking about how late it was, and how bedraggled he looked - had he been fighting!? Of course, once the damage to his leg becomes clear, she begins to fuss over the injury, and insists upon taking him to the hospital. His leg is set and encased in a cast, and he is kept in the hospital, more or less immobile, for roughly a week before being allowed to leave. He explains that the injury was caused when he was hit by a car, a powder blue cadillac, that sped off after striking him. After the incident, he doesn't do much to keep in contact with any of the others save Albert (gotta show the stupid bastard how to do rivets, after all). While he continues to smoke, he doesn't do any other drugs after this, and seems to have a general aversion for chocolate. He has become a bit paranoid after the entire incident and plans to leave the town as soon as he's 18 - get away from these crazy cultists.
