tab The group ran from their as yet unseen pursuers, trying to not get separated too badly, holding on to each other's clothing and limbs. The lighting in this world was inconsistent, some tunnels and paths becoming completely black, and the ground slippery as socks on tile at times. The kids caught terrifying glimpses of their masked attackers and some had to dodge blows by bizarre gnarled wooden wands and the like. They came to a clearing in the cloth, and spotted an area that seemed more wooden, and headed that direction. tab It almost felt strange now to hear the clank of their feet hitting hard surface, and they ran across an oddly constructed bridge, that lead to stairs, that led to a bridge... tab The less fit teens became exhausted, and Leon soon had to carry Albert as much as the other way around. Soon they found themselves in a narrow series of dim, wood paneled hallways, and were pleased to find their pursuers slower and less fit than themselves. (Good to be going against the 40+ age set kids, good on ya!) tab Strange stringy shapes seemed to be dangling from above, and brushed the tops of their heads and sometimes the backs of their necks, giving everyone the willies forever. In a brighter passage, they saw what was above them: Dark earth, and long dangling roots. They passed a wall of the white flowers, like a vertical garden-- but rather than growing out of planters, the flowers snaked in and out of the bones of human skeletons nailed to the wall with large brass spikes.
I must sleep. ;O; Write here about fleeing, terrors and more! Your pursuers are not hot on your feet, but you may lose your way, become separated, find something disturbing and surrealistic.. have stupid conversations with your friends... do as thou wilt and we will denouement it up on the morrow!"

"I read about places just like this in hokey spell books, but it's been half a decade since I was into hobbies like that! Why would all of this come back to me now in a dream?"Mi didn't know the blonde girl that took her hand. She had dawdled to ready her hastily crafted talisman, and so she was at the back of the escaping crowd. As they ran through this sturdier structure, hooded sorcerers attacked with the ferocity of monsters.
Hooded Sorcerors- "ArrGG! We'll GET YOU!"
At this time Mi readies the rope on the doll between her lips... "This is a dream, after all..." ...and she pulls it with her teeth! As the string holding the doll's shape comes loose, demon cloth smashes though the magical structure that bound it! Some of the others escaping look back in shock, but most were too busy running to think on it too much, let alone consider the cause. The cloth valiantly attacks the cultist pursuers. Although the hooded figures managed to fight off the cloth before it returned to it's natural shape, the children had already sped off into the red silk tunnels, far out of sight. Mi drops the doll remains behind. It's body was shredded by the cultist magic and would be useless now.
Heather- "You're some kinda wizard too? FREAKY!"
Mi was a bit slow to get back with the rest, mesmerized by surprise at the efficacy of her trick, and Heather was too scared to stay. She ran off!

Beef tore for somewhere, anywhere, away from their pursuers. He noticed the skeletons and stopped, just stopped, for a moment, before checking to see where Ian and the girls were. Where were they? Were they safe? "Hey hey this way!" He chose a way and just ran with it. They had time, but they also had to destroy all of this. They wouldn't have another chance.
Ian- "BEEF! We're here! You're going too fast!"
Ian and Lucy were dragging their feet, looking back, hoping slower people still might find their way back to the group. Lucy called out into the darkness behind.
"Guys, we have to destroy that machine, and the manual, and everything. We can lead them in a circle or something... we don't have forever." He runs back in the direction of the machine with his bat. He was going to SMASH. DESTROY. And destroy and smash he tried to do if he got back to it. Ian blocked his path.
Ian- "No man! We have to get out of here. Maybe we can figure out a way to come back and do that, but we're gonna risk the people's lives if we stay here any longer!"
A few more people came straggling up behind...

"Oh, fuck!" Both Leon and Albert went down in a heap in one of the slippery-floor rooms. Leon nearly screamed again when his injured leg cracked against the floor - but there wasn't time to scream, or wait until the pain stopped even. He half-dragged Albert back to his feet, and the pair continued on at a limping run - definitely near the end of the pack. When they finally reached the wood-paneled hallways, the two of them broke off from the group, stumbling into a side hallway to pause a moment and catch their breath - the sounds of pursuit had more or less died some time ago. "Jesus fuck, but you're out of shape, Al," Leon gasped, leaning against a wall and taking his weight off of the skinny punk for a few minutes. He stood precariously on one leg, leaning heavily against the wall, and putting no weight whatsoever on his injured leg - trying not to even move it if he didn't have to. Each bump and jostle felt like red-hot daggers being driven into injured limb. "Hey man, it ain't my fault you weigh, like, a gajillion pounds. Hoo." For his part, Albert half-heartedly flipped him the bird, nearly bent over double and wheezing as he caught his breath. Leon made a scoffing noise at his comment, awkwardly manuevering himself to the edge of the hallway and peering down either juncture. The Scooby Gang had headed that way, and those crazy cultists must be the other way. "We shouldn't stay here too long, those fuckers could be gaining on us." "This is like, the worst trip ever. Can't we just puke or something and come down, now?" "Man, you didn't even take anything this time! That psycho-bitch practically shoved that Torpor crap down my throat." "Uh-huh. Go on...?" "Fuck you. It was gross, okay? And you didn't see the thing she turned into. Looked like someone skinned a dick, then ground up all the stuff inside it." He shudders in emphasis. That's probably what happened to all of her boyfriends. "So wait, man, Jen Washoe gives you tongue and you think that's gross? Whats-" "... you didn't even hear that second part, did you? Jesus." "So you really are a fa-" "You keep fuckin' talkin', you're gonna lose some teeth. And I'm gonna take back that shit I said earlier." "Hey, man, there's nothing wrong with-" "We're going. Now. C'mon, get moving." Leon all but dragged Albert back into the hallway. It was awkward going, but eventually they'd see the light of day again, right?

Andrew felt a little tired as he ran, his hair goop now stinging his eyes. He tried not to think about anything, only running; his mind darted with inappropriate responses liberally. He thought about Christmas, hiding under the tree and sorting out all the present by person at 4 o'clock in the morning. He thought about that weird, oversized black hat mother would wear, with checkered white and black mini dress and bug-eyed sunglasses, with that red clutch... red lipstick. He tried not to double over against the exhaustion but failed. He looked around, spying Michael; how long had he been running, and with a shovel. "Mi- Michael, we have to keep going... right... we..." "..." "Whe- when we get out of here... Mike... I'm... I'm buying you... a... microphone... Because you need to, like... get all that out... there... somehow... c'mon!" Andrew extended his hand, still raw, red and chafing to Michael, pleading in his eyes. When the act was returned, he laced their fingers together again; through the pain and suffering, it felt right to do. "...Cool... more free stuff." Andrew pretended not to listen to Michael for a change, but somehow still managed to roll his eyes. He felt the weird vomit of the hamburger in his mouth and spat into the sheets, catching up to the 'fertilizer room.' They were mere inches behind Leon and Albert now; They were pretty, like, punk-cute... ANDREW! Focus on the death-squad-plant-nazi-clan at your heels for ONCE in your life. He wondered what his own hair looked like, being assaulted by the strange spaghetti-cloth monsters and tried not to giggle. "What?" "Y... You have to let me fix... like, really fix your hair when... when this is over... because you look... silly. I can't help it! I'm... I'm panicking and all I have left is... is weird flashes... of like, you and me.... Looking like drowned rats was not on my agenda of ways to go out. Kinda... kinda almost wish we went out at the kissing fall, y'know? I mean, not OUT out... gah, it's complicated..." Andrew felt himself blushing now and resorted to keeping silent; after all, it was Michael who said what a beautiful scene it was... until the choking part, but, even that had excitement. He was slightly startled to feel Michael squeeze his hand tightly. The pair continued running just in step with Leon and Albert. Michael- "You talk a lot... Good thing... You're cute..."

The roots crawl down the walls in greater frequency here, until the paneling seems organic, and the smell of wet earth is very strong. Fuzzy green moss grows in the cracks, and it is very dim here. Suddenly.. you come upon a small figure, crying into her hands as she sits on the dark ground in a bed of white flowers. She lifts her head, blonde locks falling from her beautiful face, and looks at the group with wide, teary eyes. Jennifer- "Oh my Gosh! D-don't hurt me!"

Andrew paused, blinking at the girl. Something was tripping inside his brain, something useful. Not pancakes, you stupid brain, something useful He strained through what he knew, and her voice... her feeble voice protesting. She protested against one of the Key Club cronies. And... "She's a monster! She- She's a tongue thing! Her and the Key Club guy! They... they're monsters!" Andrew tried not to scream, leaping behind Michael. "She's not a person... she, she's just a lump of flesh and turkey necks, man. I swear. I heard her yelling at him... oh my god... she's... she's one of them!"

Jennifer- "No! N-no! I... I don't want to help them anymore! I didn't know what they were doing...!"
Tears run down her face, running her mascara all over. "I just tried to ignore it, but I should have known! I don't want people to d-d-ie! *sob sob*"

Andrew felt the pang of guilt suddenly crest atop a mountain of fear. He knew blame was a wasted concept now, especially still stuck in here; however, he knew the dangers of blind trust. "Look, we can't take her with us. They could, like, totally track her. She... she totally made her choice. Lucy, think about it. It's not right for her to kill us. She did that by not, like, telling us! Who does that! I saw her... she's a monster, no matter what." Andrew clutched Michael's shoulder, then buried his face into the black tee shirt. He needed conviction in his words, and he knew there wasn't any there. Michael kind of smelt like gasoline and motor oil. That was different. The distraction was nice, though, to help him catch his breath.

Jennifer- "I'm not a monster! I-- they just... when you join the stupid cult you... start to look..."
She shook her head, tears dripping off her chin. "--I didn't know about Tanya! She was nice! She was always nice to me... I didn't... It's not right. I'll tell you how to get out here, I'm sorry!" She stood up weakly. "You can't just run around, you have to g-go through the cloth. There's things down here, and if you don't wear the mask they'll get you. I-I-- I hoped they'd come for me... *sob*"

"So can I like...wear my underpants on my head and it will ignore me? That wouldn't be rad but it's better than vagcaps over there. How do we go there? We have to get rid of all these mad magi and all their occult stuff. Hey, Andy, I trust her. Let's just hurry, we're dead otherwise." Jennifer- "The masks are made from the cloth itself, they can only be crafted by a, y'know, shaman.... or something."

Andrew stood by shaking his head. "How in the hell do we get the masks? Can anything work? Like the cultists masks or something?" Andrew grew impatient. He began to tug at Lucy's sleeve, shaking his head. "We should make her go first. She got in here, she can get out, mask or no. If she gets us out, she's fine. If she gets eaten by those supposed things, then, fine. But, I don't trust her. I can't, Beef!" Andrew ran both hands through his hair, head still moving slightly in a 'no' fashion. It would take time to get through this and time was something they didn't have at the moment. They barely had space figured out, so what good would time be?

Jennifer- "Okay, just.. follow me. *snf*"
tab She jogged weakly around the corner in her white Nikes with neon pink laces. The group followed, many finding they had to slow down to follow the weak girl. tab They ran down a dark corridor with tall paneled walls that disappeared into darkness above, no sign of the ceiling. They came to a place where the red cloth began forming sparse curtains, and grew more and more dense, until the walls were mostly covered with it. tab Jennifer fumbled around through a thick gathering of cloth like an actor trying to get on stage for curtain call, and then she slipped into the red cloth. tab Behind the red cloth was the dark wood, but here it was unfinished, as though it had no need to be glossy and smooth with its protective red silk to shield it. It almost seemed as rough and irregular as tree trunks. Ian- "Where are we?! How can a place like this even exist?
Jennifer- "They say they just found it like this. It was always this way... The balloon anemone, the flower... it was always sacred.."
They journeyed through the red cloth, with the same spotty lighting as before. Sometimes they saw dark shapes of figures moving on the other side of the cloth, sometimes the figures were huge and lumbering, and they dreaded to think of what they looked like uncovered.
