Harriet- "That lawyer just let you get eaten? ... I don't think we should spend any more time standing around here... we should keep moving. I'm sure there's more monsters coming for us..." I eyed Edmund once, before turning to face the door. We really did need to go. There was no more time left to lose in any of this wretched game.

(Neurotic) I cringed under Harriet’s inspection.”No of course I didn’t! Well, I am currently 2 or 3 foot at best, so I don’t know why you’re all panicking. I have the body of a malnutritioned 9 year old, literally. Literally! I have been through, I am pretty sure almost all this place has to offer! Have some respect, I know it’s hard when I look like this but please. I am not a monster turd!” I stamped my small foot emphatically before I realized how silly it would look. I moved quickly to Harriet’s side, she seemed at least sympathetic.dQDMSdCb+ +2 ·

Harriet- 7fPHVjc4+2 "We have to get out of here. It can't just be locked; there's no way out otherwise. How did you get in here, child? Is there a way out the way that you came or did you just crawl out of nothing?" I examined the child. He was not a monster turd, but he did indeed look horrible. If he grew up, would his face just get older while his body was that of an adult? It was a curious thing to consider, before examining the 'locked' door.I examine the door for any ideas of ways to get out. ·

hltSH4od+ +1 I was tired of arguing with what remained of the shrink. The red light s and Joe's exclamation had me jacked the fuck up.
Colt (anxious)- "Joe, come on man!" I holstered my gun (if I hadn't already) and secured Mills, but mostly was keeping my eye on my partner."Look at me! I don't mind you scoping for an exit, but stay cool."

Harriet & Colt -- Your eyes were drawn to Mills sputtering in the water, Baby Edmund's words not really absorbing. It would be so easy to put your foot on the back of Mills's head and let that water enter his lungs. He deserved it, didn't he? He'd just be going back to jail, draining taxpayer money as his every need was taken care of. Something was oddly compelling about that thought and drove you to distraction. He struggled to right himself without the use of his hands, choking on the dirty water.
Butcher darted around the room, slapping at the walls in a panic. That hole in the floor was there in the center, water trickling down the edges of the rough metal. It was dark down there.
The room strobed and throbbed with that red light. Something metal was bending with a squeal.

(Neurotic) My eyes fluttered with extreme eye rolling. “What did I just say? At least call me Ed. Ughh you’re welcome to go in the hole but no. There’s no way out down there.” I sighed heavily as I noticed no one listening. This was my life now. I went to the highest point in the room and sat there to sulk. If Sathariel or whatever was listening, I was ready to do a lot to get my old form back. Then I would write my book and get my revenge on this folly. As long as it was okay by this cult. I had made my bed with them, I wasn’t about to shit in it, even for fame and fortune. I knew what they were capable of. Lisa seemed cool with it though.

(Neurotic) Harriet- "There's no way out down there. Or anywhere. We're trapped until we do their will. That's why we are here..." My eyes locked on Mills. I made no move. He deserved it. He sacrificed everyone for himself. He was pathetic and weak; the opposite of what I stood for. I could just...end him here. Make him stay in this awful place.

I chalked it up to typical cop feelings. I held him out of the water, but wasn't too good about it. Splish splash scumbag.
Colt (anxious)- "..."
Nonetheless I was wholly distracted from my mission to help Joe keep his head screwed on.

VRjrZn7V +1 The metal squealed and groaned-- it was coming from the hole in the ground. A woman's dying scream echoed from within. Butcher slumped against the wall in terror.Woman- "Why didn't you save us?! Now we can't die!!"
Butcher (Anxious)- "I couldn't! I couldn't! I'm sorry!"
Mills- "Shut up! You weren't even there--"
Colt-- Butcher stalked over and yanked Mills out of your grip. Mills was flabbergasted into silence.
Butcher (Anxious)-
"What the fuck does that mean!? You keep saying that! Why did you leave me alive? Why didn't you kill me too?"
Mills- "Because you weren't there! Something's wrong with your soul... Maybe that's how S̢̨͟a̸̵t͏̛h͝͡a̴͘͢rie͝l̵̨ got in--"
He pushed Mills back into Colt's grip with disgust. The room shook as something stabbed out of the hole... A collection of body parts impaled and strapped to metal beams. The body of a woman, and the half-chewed bits of Edmund's adult-sized corpse. They jostled and throbbed along with the light, like horrible scarecrows.
Woman- "Kill him! We're all suffering because of him!"
Child- "It hurts!! Help me!"
Mills- "*sob* Don't listen to it!" A skeleton hand the size of a stop sign slapped on the ground, and a being pulled itself up, the floor groaning with the weight.
Edmund, your skeleton friend had a new face. The head that of a swollen and bloated corpse, giant dark eyes covered with a thin membrane of greyish skin. The body like a skeleton coated in tar. In the center of its chest was a heart that throbbed in time with the red lights. Creature- "HELP it's hurting me! You have to kill him!"
It spoke in the voice of your most cherished loved one. Who was that?
((Everyone... That's right... 2d10 + WILL to Keep it Together! (The last for a while I promise ) ))·

Anxious)Edmund- "OOOooooh UGGGHHHH!" I threw myself back against the wall, trying to get a far as my small body would allow from the bodies and monster. My eyes were glued on my own corpse, I could barely take my eyes away to look at the creature. The voice sounded like my daughter and wife, it was hard to tell. They had always sounded so alike. Did it not know what it looked like? The voices hurt. I couldn't see them like this. I would have to hide away. Never leave my house until I was at least normal sized again. If that would ever happen. My corpse was a sick joke. Why hadn't it just finished it. Finished me.a7wufAc7+ +2-1 Edmund- "YOU... You already ate me once. I can't... Can't do anything. I'm nothing..." ·

Harriet- 3j3PnGIC+1 I watched in horror as whatever this thing was sprung from the floor in front of us all. I didn't know what it was, or who it was, but I had an idea. I fought the urge to panic, and took several steps towards the door. It may be locked, but what else could we do? And what on earth was this? The tormented victims who could never die. Maybe this was all Mill's work. Maybe they had come to seek revenge on him at last.
I fixed my gaze upon him. Kill him. Save all of us.
But something held me back.
Father, mother, telling me to kill him. I should do it.
But it was not enough...·

Colt--
POP! You shoot the thing's heart and a strange red tube is dislodged, spraying blood over you all.
Z39yvyOK Mills found Butcher's dropped pipe and fumbled around to clutch it between his cuffed hands.
Butcher took Colt's lead and took a careful shot to the thing's bloated head. It hit it through the jaw and out the top of the head. Too bad it didn't appear to need its brain to function.
Harriet-- You see now that the door is being blocked by some kind of veiny flesh that is growing out of the wall. Maybe you could try to cut it loose.((You are down to Anxious, that is -2 to future Keep it Together rolls))
Edmund-- You feel a bizarre sensation through your little limbs. Ow-- OW! Your limbs are growing at an alarming rate and the muscles can't keep up. ((Roll 2d10+Fortitude to withstand the pain!))
The creature writhes in pain, and swipes out its giant skeleton hands to scratch at whoever's in its way. ((Colt, roll 2d10+Coolness to hop outta the way!))Creature- "PLEASE! It won't end until he's gone!" ···
