The giant roaches skittered after you, emitting bat-like squeaks. One of them came from
the other side and attempted to crawl up Harriet's leg! ((Harriet, it clings to your torn pant leg. You'll have to shake it off with 2d10+Coolness
or render some kind of violence upon it with 2d10+Violence)) Edmund-- one is just inches away from doing the same to you!

(Neurotic) Edmund- "You're not Diane..." I barely had time to realise I was suddenly feeling warmer and slightly less ragged. Odd. I began kicking my good leg towards the creature, looking for something to hit it away with.Edmund- "Shooo! SCAT!" sCB7zII|+ -2 ·

Edmund-- you almost lose your balance as you kick, and the translucent roach jumps on
your foot, chomping at your ankle with icky little mandibles. ((Roll 2d10+Fortitude to endure the injury!))

Harriet- "No way. No, nope!" I attempt to shove it away but end up accidentally punching it. It's all too fast to regret my decision.
I retreat as quickly as possible while I do so. TEMCajMD+1 violence ·

Edmund -- Ouch!! It snaps through your skin and you feel hot blood
dripping down your calf. ((You are now scratched and banged up enough to have a Serious injury.
You will be - 1 (stacking) to all rolls until you can get patched up.) ))
Harriet-- Argh, you crunch your fist against the horrible little thing and a
disgusting yellowish fluid spurts all over you. It smells like the dumpster
behind a butcher shop on a hot day. ((Roll 2d10+Fortitude to keep your lunch down!))
More horrible little bugs are planning an assault. You can keep running down the
walkway, run further into the machines, or climb up a ladder to another one of those
drain pipes.

Harriet- TTHH6k1i+1 I fight back against my rising nausea and fling whatever is still on my hand towards the things. I grab Edmund's hand and pull him with us up to the drain pipes. There was no way we could wait here until morning like I had planned. "AAGG! Hurry, up here..." I try to pull him up to help him climb with speed. I know eventually we'll have to wrap that oozing wound on his body. ·

(Neurotic) Edmund- ”Yaaaaaa! Cockroach rabies!” I do my best to comply with her given my injury, now both my legs were killing me. I hobble as fast as I can away from those creatures.I didn't want to be cockroach food, watching them ingest parts of me through their visible innards, as I was eaten bit by bit. I let out a small sob at the thought. Edmund- (Mumbled)"At least they're not in their right minds." Edmund- "Sorry! I'm trying..."

The little beasties scrabble after you, but the rungs of the ladder are too much
for them to handle. This drain pipe leaks a slow trickle of water, which gives you an idea of where you might be heading.
