Colt- "Revenge? Fuck you, pal. This wasn't our idea and we're just doing what we're told. Walk the crime scene with the al-leg-ed murderer and see if anything jogs his memory about something important to grieving families. Right? Last part of the crime scene."
I gestured upstairs with an angry thumb.

Edmund- ”Unless our client wishes to make a full confession and tell us where the boy is? Sometimes we must face our trauma in order to heal it. Airy Fairy type treatment will only band aid it at best.” I was ready to go upstairs.

Timothy- "She'll get me if I go in there! That's why I switched. I had to get away from her, the ritual, it was..." He looked confusedly at his lawyer and went quiet.
Detective Butcher- "What if we went up there without you?"
Timothy- "No, you'll go there and tell her. She'll look for me, she'll know I switched. My face is still there, I painted out the others and she'll see it."
Detective Butcher- "...*sigh* I'm getting deja vu. Should we bother?"

I pinched my forehead and sighed deeply.
Colt- "... Yeah. But let's not waste too much time with it."
I started up the stairs.

Edmund- ”You’re in charge, mam..” I followed behind Mills.

I took the prisoner to the side for a moment before we went back upstairs.Gerald - "Remember when I said it's a priority to keep you safe? I'm here to do that. Alright?"

Mills turned his head left and right like a little baby as Gerald spoke to him. Timothy- "Someone's coming--"
Some shouting came from the backyard, followed by something crashing against
the glass door. It didn't shatter, just reverberated in its frame and a woman fell flat
on her back like a cartoon character slipping on a banana peel. The guards outside
went running to haul her up. Mills looked her direction with a bland expression. Mystery Woman- "TIM! Let me see him!! Please!"
She wore a t-shirt with a logo - MCR, her hair in a slightly outdated scene-kid style.
Just a teenager... Still, she'd dropped something that scattered all over the porch-- a puzzle. Detective Butcher- "Uh, can someone bag that?"

I paused on the stairs.
Colt- "Fuck! Izzat da fan club? Somebody tell those flatfoots out there to get on the damn clock!"
I continued the rest of the way...

Edmund- ”Going to protect him from that, prison guard?” I wondered where they had picked this guard up from. He was meant to protect us from Mills, not the other way around. I hadn’t killed a child or dog last I checked.

This man was trouble. I looked him squarely in the eye. Gerald - "It's the responsibility of both the police and myself to ensure the safety of the prisoner and civilians."

NOTE-- Remaining behind (so far) are: The rest went upstairs.Mills seemed distracted by the girl's intrusion, staring off in the direction she'd been.

Mills and myself stayed away from the windows and I kept an eye on his body language.

Harriet- "I'll bag it." The upstair was too crowded for the rest of the caravan, and I hadn't hoped to find anything new at this point. This was something at least, if not simply chaos. I was not sure if this counted but since the request was made, it would be taken.
I took out an evidence bag, and wandered to the spot where the teenager dropped her puzzle, and began to pick it up, pondering the pieces. Who was this woman anyhow?
