Ashley takes the radio delicately with his free hand, and watches over the darkness quietly. If it didn't attract unwanted attention, he'd shine a flashlight over the dimly lit streets in the night. "They're good men, those two." He remarks. Probably about the "young strong negros." He believed it. They would have made good officers. They covered backs well, and provided much needed support, muscle and backbone. They seemed to also follow orders quite well.

((OOC- Maybe more internal monologue on that subject than i needed from this character, haha. Anyhow...))
The dusk was still chilly. Spring in Seattle. What can you do? Ashley patrols the roof edge. He sees zombies. His eyes are better than Basil's, but it's still getting a bit tough. After this shift, the roof isn't going to have a steady patrol. It switches to the indoor patrol, who are meant to come up intermittently.
Last shift on the roof. Two hours. Maybe he'd see a smoker later. What does Ashley do or think about up here?

((OOC, since he was pretty much doing nothing, I inserted some monologue to fill time. THEY WOULD BE GREAT COPS, or at least he thinks so.)) He'd sit and try to approximate the number of zombies, and their pattern of movement, figuring that might be of some use to them. If he had a flashlight he'd use eyeshine as an approximation. Especially where they are clustered/how long the clusters last/if they are random.

The zombies don't have preternatural vision. Their eyes don't shine more than a normal human's. That is useful info though - As the day gets too dark for them to say, they seem less excitable and tend to slump... in fear? Certainly not exhaustion. Anyhow, as it gets darker, it gets less dangerous out there... from zombies anyhow.
A while passes, then you see a movement to the north. A group of maybe two dozen zombies is coming down the street, as fast as they can. Why? They are headed toward the 403 building.

Ashley waited for a little while. What were they trying to do exactly? He had never see them have this kind of motivation, especially at night. He watched closely, and turned the flashlight off, to see if that changes anything. Crying wolf at this hour would hardly be of any use to anyone, but this sort of behavior disturbed him to some degree.

Edging as close as he could to the corner of the roof they were closest to, he could see Tyrone and Kaito on the patio. From their angle, they couldn't see this, and not looking up, took no note of Ashley.
As the zombies got within a few blocks, he could finally see - they were chasing a lone staggering man, clearly still alive, who was not in any shape to outrun them. The only way to get help quickly would be to radio the back stair guys and have them - whoever they were - go outside to do it.

Ashley is on it in a minute. There were lives to be saved from these damned brainsgrubbers. He picks up the radio and takes a quick look before trying to operate it. "There's a man down there, he might be wounded but he's alive. We need people with arms to go out there and beat down the deadheads. There are about twenty four of them out there chasing him. Back-stairs guard, it's on you. If you don't have the resources I'll run down and tell the community right now, in hopes it's not too late." He'd give the exact location of the hoard's current position, and where he thought they'd end up, and quickly. He will not shoot unless it seems like the man is being overtaken, as it will probably "wake" the other zombies nearby.

The back door guard copies you - a man's voice, thankfully not a middle-aged woman, as was possible. Kaito and Tyrone look up at you. Tyrone- "Trouble, Ashla?"

Ashley- "There's a guy down there, being chased by two dozen cannibals. I just radioed the back door. I can provide cover fire if necessary but I'd rather not if it's avoidable. " He remarks to Tyrone. A man he could near completely trust. What a strange world. He wondered if they could make a new sort of elite squad, maybe make every able man into one.

Over the radio, the back door guy said "Roof guy! Get more backup, damn you!"

Kaito looked over the edge of the roof, then back to Tyrone with a flip of his hairdo. Kaito- "Damn. Lot of zombies." Tyrone- "I'm on it!" Tyrone ran inside to get help.

Kaito had gone in after Tyrone, after some hesitance. Ashley stood at the corner of the roof, looking down on the madness in (See The Streets thread).

In the chaos and calls for help Micah considered running to help but was lost in indecision and his cowardice won over. He raced half-heartedly towards the staircase but instead of going down, he went up. He didn't want in on the action but he wanted know what the fuck was going on. Once up stairs he raced to where Ashley was locked on the action and stared down besides him at carnage below. "Fuck! Bloody fucking hells bells, who the fuck is down there??!!"

See the scene from the streets! Part of Micah and Ashley's view of the fight is obscured, but they get a good idea of who is in it and what they do. They trashed some bozos! Eventually, a call comes on the radio.
"Back door here. I assumed the post from Columbo. Um... The guy got in OK, he's injured maybe. Everyone else just got scratches. Pretty good fight. The building is secure."

Ashley would have gone inside to get more folks down there to help, I just went to bed. . After telling Tyrone he'd go down and into the community center but it would probably take him longer than Tyrone and Kaito. He'd then tell them by radio that he was getting more back-up now, and to hold them off until such a time.
