I'm going to go with "trusting" then, since they're similar mechanically. And -4 to intuition would be... rough.
I put her soul at 0 because I couldn't really see her being super in tune with supernatural forces, but we could certainly bump it up if we give her Forbidden Inspiration. And yeah, the Fatal Frame thing is a little cliche, but I think we could have some fun with it!
Heather is an artist, so I feel like she's pretty open to the supernatural. She's aware that there are a ton of things that can't be explained, and I feel like she wouldn't be surprised at all to learn that there are monsters and ghosts about. Terrified? Absolutely, but she's always kind of had a sneaking suspicion that there's something more out there. I feel like she's caught some weird stuff on her camera in the past (if we decide that's an ability she has) but it's never been anything that couldn't be explained, but now that she's taking pictures of murder scenes, I think there would be plenty of angry spirits looking for her attention.

I think we can pretty safely say she's at least seen a lot of 'ghost orbs.' So she's got this task to come along on this expedition and photograph any evidence they uncover. The crime scenes have already been shot extensively almost two months ago. Would she review those photos? How much would she want to know about this case? It's gotten sensationalized in the local media a lot since summer, it'd hard to know *nothing* about it. What would she do to prepare herself?
Doesn't matter much to me, as long as it's skeletons.

I think she's pretty familiar with the parts of it that are public knowledge: that the killer has been apprehended (supposedly) and the number of victims and most of their names. I don't think she really wants to know more than that, though: just gather evidence for use in court and try to get some neat shots to further her artistic career. She's been distancing herself from the case mentally in order to prepare, trying to focus on her work behind the camera rather than everything else that's going on, I think. It's easier to do her job as a rational collector of evidence when she isn't focusing on the pain the families must be going through or whether or not the prisoner they have is innocent. That's someone else's job.
She definitely has access to the photos from when the crime scene was fresh (though she's not quite ready to look at them by the time we start playing) and I think if she looks closely enough at them, she'll see some interesting things.

This is all sounding pretty good to me, Tori. Do you think you're ready to start your character sheet? Let me know if there's anything you'd like to explore about the character with me first. Otherwise, you can 'quote' the top post on this thread and start filling it in. I'd particularly like you to note the 'description' sections, where you explain what the different stats/advantages/disadvantages etc mean for her. Some of it will probably be the same content as this thread, so feel free to copy/paste as you like.
Hey hon, your profile looks great! I noticed a couple discrepancies on the numbers though-- For your first three stats (will, reflexes and fort) you have two stats at +1, you can bump up one of them to +2.
And in second row, you have two at +2, if you could please bump one of those down to +1. (There should be two stats @ +1)
I think the disadvantage might be a bit extreme too, maybe you can change it to -1 on intuition rather than -2.
I'm really happy with everything else though. Do you feel like you know this character pretty well now? Want to do any more developing with me?
