Ash turned around to cover her back. "...I might want some." He replies, scratching his scalp as the sound of movement drew closer. "....Come on, come on." He shook with adrenaline and breathed a little harder. His pipe was crusted with blood now. Tyrone- "Don't wait man." Tyrone strolled toward a group of three zombies. It was kind of amazing how stupid they were when you approached them calmly. He angled away at the last moment, still at a strolling pace, and in trying to adjust they fell all over each other. Then he picked up speed and dove at them with his weapon, driving it into skulls with powerful thrusts.

Abdul asked Patti, Abdul- "Do you have any other shopping you'd like to do today, madam?"

Seth poked his head out. Seth- "We might be a while going through these electronic supplies. Why don't you guys go on ahead? You can leave a cart outside the barricade, go do what you like." Alex and Micah had an opening to go to the religious store.

Ashley watched Tyrone thoughtfully. The man had a point. Also he must have done something with some real danger to move through those things unphased. Ashley himself was on the reckless side, and liked some of the danger, but even then Tyrone had outcooled him. He was impressed. His respect for Tyrone grew a little as he waited. "We might do just that." He looks over to Patti to make the final decision.

To Abdul - "I think I'm set. The rest of my shopping I can do at the 403 Towers Shopping Center, if you catch my meaning." "We'll take the full cart with us. I never got to the propane, but if you have room, you should bring one or two. Now that the front is clear, we should exit out that way. I'm sure we'll pick these goons back up when we pass the alleyway on Harrison in a few minutes." She entered the store and moved towards the front promptly, making space for the others to enter behind her.

Ash follows behind, and makes sure the door stays open for Tyrone. The goons would gather behind them and may overwhelm them if he didn't keep an eye on him. He kept a hand on his pipe just in case of "surprise" visitors.

"Okay it's clear enough I guess, let's go get you that duey-rhymes bible and shit. So what happens when you take the ring off?" He grabbed his knife in one hand and the hatchet in the other, unsure of which to use in case of trouble. He placed the duffle bag on top of the trolley. He followed behind Alex, ready to help take out any stragglers from earlier. The others seemed to be doing a good job and the space was relatively clear. He didn't feel comfortable entering the store, like most places affiliated with christianity, it gave him the heebie jeebies.

Alex nodded at Seth, then ran in front of Micah towards the shop. It comforted him to pretend that the cart was a battering ram. As he jogged, he panted out a response to Micah's question. "If I take it off? Nothing really. It's all symbolic. But since you're so interested in my lifestyle, c'mon and join the fun. Okay, repeat this: I am making a commitment to myself, my family, and my Creator, that I will abstain from sexual activity of any kind before marriage. I will keep my body and my thoughts pure as I trust in God's perfect plan for my life. Amen! And you're born again!" Hey, if Alex could convert an atheist to God's Path, maybe he'd be forgiven for devouring a pound of meat on Good Friday!

"Nice try Alex, I like to keep my body as pure as the yellow driven snow. My lord Satan likes it that way, kidding. So you really going to stay pure through the Apocalypse, no lady action?" He panted back, keeping his eyes on the environment, looking for the undead. He hoped that the store owners were trusting and the doors were unlocked. ( If said doors are locked, Micah will try to use the hatchet.)

Patti took the handle of the shopping cart and pushed it out the door as Abdul held it open for her. The group made its way out. She turned hard right to get on Harrison street. She tried to let the guys handle the zombies as much as possible, but tucked her pistol into the pile of stuff in the cart so she could get it out quickly if the situation turned.

Alex snorted at Micah's response, then laughed at his question. "Yes. Unless I get married." Unfortunately, he didn't think marriage was a likely prospect in the near future. He joined his friend near the door.

Ash doesn't say what he thinks, which is that she's brave for trusting them with her safety.. Well, relatively anyways. He keeps a look out and stays to her left, giving her wide berth for when she needed to turn, whenever that may be. He decided not to comment, and instead made sure that Abdul and Tyrone were following them, and had made it through, hoping that the sound of rattling wasn't going to attract more of the flesh-eaters. He noticed one approaching from his side, and gave it's arm a good whack. A miss, but a good hit none the less. There were far less in this direction even with the noise.

Micah found the door to Kaufer's Religious Supply locked, with the "CLOSED" sign facing outward. At least that meant less zombies within, most likely. He used the hatchet to break the glass, and he and Alex had to slip in doggy-door style by crawling through the larger bottom pane. Inside, the two found a vast variety of religious books, jewelry, party supplies and art. In addition to the vastly Christian bent, there were a few token nods to other religions, including some "SACRED CANDLES" on the checkout counter. "PURIFY YOUR HOME FROM UNWANTED SPIRITS".

Like Micah, Alex felt exceptionally nervous in the dim supply shop. He half-expected to meet a demon lying in wait for pious victims. Why was life so difficult for good, religious types? Well, Christians had always been persecuted. Didn't Romans throw them to the lions? And Kateri Tekakwitha, sweet Lily of the Mohawks, was scorned by her pagan tribe members and driven away from home. He had to be strong in the face of danger. Now feeling braver, Alex rushed through the store, picking out the bible and crucifixes. He thoughtfully added St. Jude and St. Michael medals to the pile. They sure could use the protection of the Patron Saint of Lost Causes and a warrior archangel. After some consideration, he gathered a dozen large candles for survival purposes. The beeswax church candles burned a long time; they had to. He wrapped the objects in a choir robe and carried the bundle in one hand, his right hand free to wield the crowbar from City Hardware. Just in case. "Ooookay, we're set! I hope being around so many holy things didn't burn too bad." Alex turned and looked for Micah. His eyes settled on the glass door across the store. What would they do if a whole pack of zombies gathered at the entrance?

It definitely reeked of christian creepy, Micah hated it. It barely attempted to address the religious needs of non-Christians. Micah's grandmother had been a born-again Christian and her house had been littered with meaningless kitschy paraphernalia. She had even brought out bible themed board games every christmas, in a thinly veiled attempt to educate him and his brother about their sinful ways. Apparently worldliness was a sin but then it really wasn't Micah's only one. A shelf to one side contained christian toys, which included some rather poor attempts to woo young girls with ' Godz girlz' modestly dressed barbie dolls. They had awful poxy t-shirts that said things like 'Pick Jesus' but inside the shape of a guitar pick. He moved up to the counter to the 'sacred candles' and picked a couple out for Nat. He'd mentioned candles back at the last building and Micah hadn't got him a birthday present. "Did you find your stuff? This place gives me the creeps." He said after what seemed ages waiting for Alex to scour the store.
