He beheld the vampires at the table and it was very weird. They were shadowed by luminous animal forms, some monstrously large. Wings bristled, dorsal fins slashed the air, things were pretty wild. The building itself had more consistent form than the outside did, but even with that, spirit sight would let him have an intuitive sense of what, generally, lay down each path.

How far would this intuition see? Trevor felt out the building. He didn't imagine he'd get a complete map or anything, but maybe some previews into adjacent rooms...

It was a bit vague, he could feel paths to rooms. Not putting it all together in his mind to form a 3d image, but sensing for example this way led to a floor with several smaller rooms, that way led to another way back to the same floor, and so on, all the way down and out the door to where he felt the world getting more twisted.

For starters Trevor would view his own room (where rat had already surely returned) and the way he came with the sight. He thought of inviting Miss Bunny to come along, but she seemed to be bonding with Olga. They could meet up afterwards.

He could feel that Rat was there and whether or not the things he'd brought were still in his room, and knew exactly how to get there, though had nothing more than that feeling about it.

How useful. Off he went.

The halls were spooky weird. Spirit bugs crawled inside the walls. The drop ceilings were dropping. Insulation and crumbled drywall piled randomly in the halls like driftwood. He passed a few rooms where other vampires were staying along the way.

Many spirit buildings Trevor explored were composed of multiple states they had been in over the years, some with furniture arrangements on rotation. Were the crumbling walls and debris from one or more of the hospital's memory?
He looked to see what forms danced behind these allies, but would switch back to his ordinary vision if it bothered them.

He saw Tereza and Carlo laying a large bed together, each with a fox and a robin shadowing their forms. Carlo glared at him when he noticed the look.

Whoops. Switch time.
Trevor - "Excuse me. I was just spacing out."
If Carlo had nothing to say it'd be best to move on without delay.

Carlo- "Huh. You get into some dope blood, didn't let us know?" Tereza- "Not cool, leetle dude."

Trevor hesitated to reply, thrown off for a moment.
Trevor - He laughs weakly. "I'm the last person you'd ask for opiates. It's a power of sight... Um, not an hallucinatory either."

Carlo- "Uh... Why ya talkin' all fancy, bro?" Tereza- "You don't have to impress us."

Trevor would later consider the balance between accurate and casual vocabulary.
Trevor - "Oh... Right, then."

Carlo- "Yeah. Huh. Hm. Hey now that I think about it, I kinda got a question for you. Tereza- "Ooh, what is it?" "You ate a heart, right?"
