aktnova - That's why it's drop-in! Coordinating this sort of thing across the globe with several people is kinda impossible, so you can just pop in for a few moments in the few days. I'm sure you'd rather do more, but such is life. And if you can't do much, after the fact when you have a bit more time, you can read an interesting story with a few cameo appearances by your character. Better than nothing, amirite?

Yeah, what Christopher sez-- we're gonna run it from Oct 30th PST in the morning, to probably early November 1st so anyone can drop in to any of the events. We'll make a more specific schedule, but your character could go to morning classes, do an afterschool event, go to the dance at night... go to Halloween related shenanigans the next day... whatever you're able to make it for. NBD. This game will be pretty scripted for the most part, so you won't hold us up if he disappears or isn't around for the middle etc. Don't worry!

Hey aktnova - I thought a good BFF for ZIFO in his clique would be Frank Spilnick. They wouldn't necessarily be bros4lyfe, but I could see them kinda dudes hanging out.

So, when you say "scripted" do you mean "NPCs do stuff from the story and players react" or will one of you guys be the narrator that sets the stage? I'd really dig a narrator, personally. If it's the second thing, which of you guys are narrating? Kelly?

It's complicated, kinda an organic tag team thing. Kelly may do the lion's share of the writing, but we're not sure yet. He does have mad doin' the comic to do as well...
Basically we're going to write the story so that it will work if not a single one of you shows up, plan some character-specific stuff that can happen based on what you guys invented (or not if you can't make it the days of), and--
The day of we'll post the story a bit at a time, changing the course of events slightly if character actions necessitate it, and inventing any new material on the spot if it becomes necessary.
That sound about right, Kelly?

Yeah, something like that. A narrator sounds fun, haha I never considered that. Basically, we'll have scheduled events in real time, (when school starts, when the dance starts etc.) We'll have a lot of the story pre-written to save time/pain for us, and modify it based on what characters do. So yeah, if someone suddenly drops out of the game it won't destroy our evil machinations, they will just keep on machinating. Muahaha.

Hey just a quick note on progress-- we're writing up the stories, and have your pictures drawn. We might have to change around some people's grade levels, because we have too many seniors. I was thinking our extra-unusually young seniors (16 year olds) could become just fairly unusually young juniors. (I skipped a grade, and as a senior was the 2nd youngest kid in my grade at 17. The other guy was one day younger. :B Most of my classmates were 18 or going on 18, w/ even handful of 19 year olds!)

On that one, oh man, just throw Gabriel into junior year. The only reason I even did that to him is 'cause that's how my school age progressed.

Mi is an appropriately aged senior. Part of her character is that she's the odd duck in with the library gals due to her age and actual maturity. They all look to her for answers since she has the Aspie power of knowing a little about everything.
I sort of think of her as the Master Splinter to the Ninja Turtles. ;D

@ Audrey- Thanks! The only different really will be who's in his classes at the start of the game. @ Mi- Yeah, I like her being the 'older girl' and library guru.

@kelly-No problem. I am just showing my ignorance of the American school system, it would actually make heaps more sense considering he is in class with Izzy. Maybe it would be wise after all to make him an exchange student? Or he can just be weird? I was thinking google could save me for most part but maybe not? Anyways completley up to you guys, I don't want to mess the story up. ;D

∆§Indea§∆ We'll be occasionally confused players together since I was home-schooled. Most of what I know about the U.S. school system is from watching TV series set in high schools (mostly Daria). ;D

@krisit- Haha, cool. Yeah my knowledge comes from a mix of Freaks and Geeks, Daria, Buffy, 21 Jump Street ( like 3 episiodes though and only because of JD), Glee (I have a musical fetish, leave me alone) and various other movies featuring street-smart high school kids, who teach their coach a valuable lesson etc.

Just another update-- we're almost done with your pics, and I'll make a new thread soon for you guys to post your more finalized profiles into. Yeeeeeeeeah boyeeee. :B @ Indea- No prob, that's interesting that different countries have different systems that way. We had a Russian foreign exchange student, and she was in "13th grade."

@kelly- We have year 12 but no 13, although it's technically the 13th grade. We have primary school (prep-grade 6) then high school (Year 7-12). Years 10 to 12 are senior but 11-12 are known as VCE.
