Your coloring looks amazing! Danger! Danger! Now entering fine detail territory! For Amelia, this actor's photo is a good reference for perspective/face alignment of forehead, eyes, and chin, etc. If possible, I like this lip color for her. When in repose or with mouth shut, Clair's chin would look shorter and more boxed off, while that point would occur while smiling open mouth or during other expressions with jaw extended (E.g. yelling, singing, etc.). Albeit, that detail may be something I would never have cared to notice if I didn't have a weird obsession with chin shape. #actuallycrazy

Sebastian - Rough week of my own madness. Forgive me if I'm not entirely coherent as I'm embracing my inner Squidward. That said... She looks very nice! Mind if I request a makeup version without blush? I miswrote before. I'd try to explain what I mean, but it'd be too nightmarishly absurd sounding. Basically, don't worry about da blush. And by "dark red" I meant "Regular old red" apparently.

Sebastian - Have I mentioned you're a delight to collaborate with? I love collaborating on stories. Once I've had some rest after that productive workdaying I'll post my character costuming and some plot ideas...

Sebastian - Aw, you even gave the lipstick a little shine. Some messed up GFX will be necessary especially since I had in mind some non KO transformation... Claire will probably pass out, though.

Sebastian - Plot ideas! I have a bunch. Take as much time to read my ramblings as you need. Like KFRPG after the comic, there can be some overlap. My current plotting has been mostly spinning off of the RPG, so besides offering opinions about these suggestions, please let me know what comic stuff or entirely new plot elements you'd love to see! Idea #1: Claire will obviously be getting a new couture wardrobe. I should probably design these not-so-off-the-rack looks by hand. Idea #2: Amelia, being a Dragomir, will get seriously creeped on by her new grand daddy. She'll be fairly safe at Fran's. Idea #3: Theodore will meet the youths at the theater. Only this time there's some sort of complication that allows he and the n00bs to have more of a talk. More the time Jack got with Theo at the carnival, so they'll get the sales pitch and have the chance to think over his proposal, reject it outright, etc. He'll peace out birdy style, leaving the team to the show. Idea #4: Just as in RPG, Jack will have to disappear or somehow be otherwise unappealing to Theodore as The One. I think Theo's obsession with Jack may have begun during their meeting at the carnival, which means we could likely remove Jack's magical protagonist draw by saving him on the night of Sarah's performance. This saving grace could tie in to that as of yet unplanned complication I mentioned. Maybe it could have something to do with Trevor's spirit friends...? Idea #5: Both Claire and Amelia will have given Theodore the strong impression their lineage progenitors are... unpleasant to deal with. Marchese is going first, of course, but this may put Aubrey closer to the chopping block than Sombreta. In that case, Claire would assist in luring out Lord Greyburn while Theodore's plans and strength are still unknown, and would go Team Theo with Santi. She would reject becoming "considerably more powerful" (a line I would like to reintroduce ) and let somebody else eat the icky thing. Theo would accept that because such a grotesque act is obviously unappealing to a ~lady~. Idea #6: Youths would be sent to Dragomir Mansion again for protection, leading once more to Trevor's betrayal since Amelia did tell Theodore how much she'd like her creepy grandpappy to disappear from the face of the earth. Idea #7: Fran will bring Amelia along crow hunting, freaking Amelia out. She'll conspire with Farley and Gracie to get Fran. Something more involved than explosives for depths same since Amelia will have bonded with Fran somewhat before seeing her true nature. Aaaaannndd I go to sleep.

Welcome back! Those avatars look amazing! Amelia is fine with or without lip stuffs. Their clothes look great. Yeah, I meant the symphony. I think getting Jack out of danger that night would keep everybody as equals since he'd otherwise get the protagonist one-on-one during that scene without the others, and I'd like the new vampires less in the dark early on for plot progression. @fran - Interesting point. I was fairly certain she still hunted them anyway. If Fran is on better behavior, that would give her no reason to go dead. Then Demetri wouldn't loose her... That might make him a little bit less of a jerk, but probably extra protective of his loved ones after Sarah getting dead. I imagine Amelia will eventually see something or learn something about Francesca that helps her drift apart from her, but she'd survive a cold shoulder. Amelia, Claire, and Trevor would have to meet secretly (Since Eli and Amelia are friends he'd be welcome to secret meetings). Amelia is a risk taker that's do anything for her friendships. As for romance, it'd certainly add a sence of excitement to their relationship. Additional thoughts? Anything I forget to address?

Aw, sorry about that. Good luck. I'm curious about what Claire's toothtastic monster face will look like. {AU}@secret meetings - I fall into the "romance distracts from plot" camp of story telling. For me, having the characters fight to be together (romantic or not) is a more exciting scenario to write about.

Aidan needs a "heyo" and "evil" added because he's kind of a douche. Amelia can use "lol" and "rage" since she's an extrovert. She has a history of talking back to The Man, so "rage" will come about when the elders legit screw up. Amelia and Claire need the smile version of "sensitive" because they care. {AU stuff}I was thinking that maybe Aidan would make it through the final round, but go to somebody else (to piss off Marchese). My original idea was that Marchese would loose him outright as a complete FU. Now, though, it seems unbalanced to have all the babies survive the entire campaign. That takes away from the suspense. So, Aidan making it through the final round could give him some more time to earn his death. I think Angela could save him out of selfishness since he's fit, causing some friction between herself and Marchese.

I have some designs for Aubrey's Claire fashions: Left: A peplum dress made from a mixed selection of fabrics. The hat is a repurposed distressed cloche turned inside-out. A piece of veneer- torn from a dresser and cut into shape- is glued to a hat pin and fastened uncomfortably into place. Accessorized with nylon dress gloves and lace up ankle boots of undetermined age. Center: A heavy, sleeved poncho made with several layers of bedspread. Its movement and silhouette are stiff rather than blousy. A pencil skirt that offers no freedom of movement is worn underneath, accessorized with a pair of fashion boots in a style only dating back a couple decades. They've been given a fresh coat of old lead paint. Right: A hemmed pair of repurposed nightgown and slip dress. The nightgown is converted into a sleeved shawl, and its material is so flimsy and old that every movement in it feels risky. Flounces were added to the sleeves using fabric cut from the same garment. Accessorized with the same gloves and ankle boots as the peplum dress. ETA: You do such a great job with graphics!

Sebastian - I had to go to work before I could reply, so this comment is a response to both of your most recent posts. @eli matters - What might make the PC parent decisions easier is that this is another game with unplanned outcomes. Vitus ended up with Jack despite his wishes, so something like that may happen again. Another thought is that if Eli went Lepponen, you or I could have an opportunity to create more spirits. Although, that may be more fun for me. You could also choose which type of spirit Eli has the biggest draw to. I'd have to go back to early Trevor spirit research, but KF spirit varieties I currently remember are demons, deities, fairies, and hearth spirits. @fashion - Thanks. As you may know, I already have a plan for Claire... So, no undying Aubrey party for she! I think the peplum dress can be the default if you want to make more gfx, but since I made visuals we can just look to those as example. @gfx - You have been so game-productive! Everything continues to look great. Fem nude gfx are useful for anything strapless and for Aubrey spooking.

@vitus - Aw. Well if Eli goes Lepponen, he'll get to be BFFs with Trevor. @magical eli - I just remembered ghosts were the other spirit option. If Eli gets faeries the party would never stop. Are there any mythological creatures you really love in particular? Eli could have, like, his own sea serpent or something. I dunno if he's still an aqualad in this 'verse. Basically the spirit can be whatever you would think is awesome, but still conforming to their type, and not so strong to make anybody god mode. Going by KFRPG rules, early spirits summoned will be less impressive than later ones. Trevor had to gain experience, put his safety on the line, and go on a long journey to befriend an ancient and powerful spirit. Miss Bunny and Washy Wendy have decent physical strength, but not the fancy powers of Rat and his pack. @au pc/npc - Shall we get to drafting profiles for the band?

Sebastian @spirits - Oh, I know a lot of those! Now, I did go back to Trevor's early spirit research. I snagged the relevant info. {KFRPG post } Now, as the above info mentions, it's hard to neatly define one group of KF spirit. We might want to consult with Christopher about which group your spirit choices fall under if/when he has some spare time for that. So far we have the broad groups: Demons - Spirits born of sinful pursuits and impure subjects such as war, betrayal, lust, etc. Angels - Spirits born of obedience, power, and righteous pursuits. Ghosts - Spirit remnants of things passing, mortal or otherwise (lives, events, experiences, etc.). Fairies - Spirits born of mortal man's emotionally driven pursuits such as music, dance, drink, etc. Divinities - Sprits that strongly encompass an element, species, etc. Hearth - Spirits born of manmade structures or undertakings. Two of Trevor's hearth spirit friends are examples of spirits including one or more defining attributes of other spirit types: Miss Bunny - Born from the feeling of abandonment as an unwanted plush, she is just as much a spirit of emotion as she is a vestige of human recreation. Rat - Just as much a spirit born from the tenacity of the brown rat and the action of harvesting as associated with mooching off of agriculture. I imagine Rat morphed more into a hearth spirit as agriculture developed, paralleling the evolution of man's relationship with opportunistic wildlife. Eli's spirits! Undine - Such creatures would be perfect for Eli's first summoning. They're fun loving, peaceful, and totally welcoming. They'd happily associate with a kindred aquaperson. Encantados - Perhaps a bit more of a challenging summoning since these beings are quirky and clingy. They're still super sociable and would make a good friend for long conversations into the night about magic stuff. Pomba Gira - This would be Eli's "Rat" type spirit. Very powerful and would need a lot more work to get on their good side. She'd at first ask for some sort of absurdly rare gem encrusted jewel found in the clutches of a great, beastly bird (or something) just for the opportunity to speak to her. Once on the Pomba Gira's good side, Eli might be considered a worthwhile loyalist and would be able to consult with her about more advanced magics, wisdom, etc. To me these all sound pretty deity like. Again, it might be a good idea to seek GM guidance here. I remember Chris being very specific about this particular part of the KF mythology. ETA: GM permission for anything as long as it's thematic! On that note: Undine - Are obviously tiny water gods. No question. Encantados - Pink dolphin deities? Pomba Gira - Deity of darkness and femininity.
