She kept to what she was doing, one hand reaching up to some random office machinery on her side of the desk to twist a dial without looking, before getting back to whatever. Secretariat- "..." The sounds began to oscillate and swell even more, lights flickered, heads ached and bodies felt heavy. Mason almost collapsed, but caught himself on one knee. Also, one by one they start to feel a cold ache in the small of the back, a feeling almost like poisoning or fever.
{Monsterjill Experience}Monsterjill also feels the weight, but recognizes this as the yellow signal. Those fools are trying to pacify you again. But the buffer of experiencing the world through the senses of another offers some protection - the body is suffering, but you're still alert.

Jill - "There isn't really any supervisor coming, is there?" Jill asks though gritted teeth.
Jill's Internal Thoughts - "Now's the time."
An invisible force grabs the secretary and throws her hard against the desktop. Sounds of tearing flesh stem from Jill's back as the monster rips itself free. Jill passes out onto the floor from the trauma and the slimy thing speeds towards a new target. It's not a manager or a supervisor, but this employee was better than nothing.

Masons' vision was starting to get wobbly, but he was able to see the disgusting brain-thingamabob scuttle across the room like some kind of mutated spider. They could never get a break, could they?
While on one knee, he called out a garbled, Mason- "Shoot it!" ..And fired once at the brain-thingy.

Erel- "Ugh, what is that..." He looked pale, and dropped down a little. He was starting to feel like the rest of his body was made of lead too.

Monsterkind attempted to dodge the attacks with zig-zagging motions.

SLITHERING MONSTROSITY! He'd been training his whole life for this moment: every cockroach Timothy had crushed underfoot, smacked with a newspaper, and dodged with furious panic now returned to him, their spirits guiding his gun as he aimed and fired at the alien creature.PEW PEW PEW (or whatever sound shotguns make - KaBLAM?)

Mason's shot and Tim's first shot were wild, but Tim was relatively well and fast, first blasting it in half with one shot, then exploding it with the next.
Everyone was hit with a wave of crushing spooky energies. Thousands of chunk green pixels leapt up in their brains and reality settled into an even more distorted state than it was before. The hall leading out had closed in on itself like a sphincter made of plaster, and the red double doors had opened amorphously like a heart valve, onto a hall with irregular walls and dripping fluids.
Even Jill was seeing this.
Meanwhile, in the room with them, blood and brain chunks were all over the wall behind the desk, and barely audible above the static gurgle and rush of the creepy environment, they heard moaning coming from near the floor back there.

Given that Jill had only just regained consciousness, it was hard for her to tell if this was some sort of side effect of her unpleasant ordeal or if she had hit her head on the way down.
She hoisted herself up a little onto her forearms to better see what was happening and groaned. Sitting in this careless sphinx pose only made her back pain more pronounced.

"What...what is that? We have to get out of here..." He looks like he wants to crawl or limp his way all the way back to the car.

The little balance that Mason had on one knee was taken out when he fired, and he ended up propping himself up on his elbows, with the gun on the floor next to him.
Then, stuff got weeeiiiirrddd. Hella. Mason- "I.. I dont..." He was like a deer trapped in the headlights, eyes wide and staring in no particular direction. He tried to stand but his legs felt wobbly underneath him. "What.. what is this..?"

Erel's intention got Holly moving in the general direction of the sphinctered off hallway from whence they came. As they neared the sealed orifice, everything seemed to slow down, their bodies hurt, and vision grew staticky (just Erel and Holly have the slowdown, no one else). Mason managed to get to his feet, and Jill was able to see the room more clearly. There was only one way out - that creepy slimy hall. What did it mean? What would they do?

Jill - "Honestly? I've experienced weirder things today." An oozing tunnel may not be the most appealing exit, but Jill was satisfied with having the control back to make her own decisions. Painfully, she got up onto her feet to make it for what could be her last chance outta here.

Erel- "Ughhh... I don't think we can get out this way... What...the hell...." He tried to crawl through but found an infinite slowness... what was the algorithm? His sleepy brain remembered physics. Maybe they were approaching a black hole vortex.. But no, that was too stupid. "The other way then..." He muttered it sharply, as if it was a curse.

It didn't look like they had much choice. Mason picked up his gun and looked at the others with his spooked eyes. He started to talk a couple steps towards the hallway, but it was clear he didn't want to go alone. He let out a simple 'Uuuhhhh..'
