I'm happy that I finished a short story during the first 4000 words Then, I started a novel since this is NANOWRIMO and I'm not a big rebel. This week has been tough b/c I've been doing a lot of scientific writing in between work ;O; but that'll be finished by Friday, so fun times are over the horizon.

I finished one short story! We've gotten to the point of the Spooktacular where only I know what's going to happen! I got a big chunk of another short story written! I worked out some great character development for one of the protagonists of my bigger writing collaboration!

Hi! I hope one of you will read one of my stories if you feel like it. I'd like to hear some feedback from such clever authors.

Quick note-- two new threads, 30k or be slain - about the upcoming sprint/milestone, and a thread to post excerpts of your writing that you thought turned out well.

I'm going to be doing the same thing as last year where I don't care about word count, but I'm feeling more confident this year! My specific goals will be: - Finish unfinished short stories! - Write more of the story collaboration I'm working on with my mom! - Finish the Spooktacular RPG! - Finish unfinished short stories! ✓ - Write more of the story collaboration I'm working on with my mom! - I didn't write more, but I got a ton of great drafting done. - Finish the Spooktacular RPG! - Not quite, but we're getting there! I'm so proud of myself this month.

Who else feels like they've accomplished a lot this month, even if you didn't make all of your goals? Writing doesn't stop at the end of November, and every unfinished goal you started during NaNo is a jump ahead further than last month! Yay!

Aww you guys! Thank you! I made myself peanut butter and Nutella cookies to celebrate. I'm still not quite done w/ the story, I've got a little more than an hour, so let's see if I can figure out how the hell to end this beast!

Totally, I'm really glad everyone tried, even if it was hard. I know I had mad motivation problems this month. So no matter how much you wrote, good on ya folks!
