It wasn't long until the bus wheels were too caught up in bramble to push through any further. Once they had fully stopped Sam and Zoe went and opened the bus door up front, then took turns sticking their heads out.
Gina -
"Girls, what are you doing? Sit down."
Zoe -
"Ms. Thompson, there's some buildings around those trees," said Zoe as she and Sam returned to their seat.
The group leader also looked out the door, taking a few steps further away. She sighed in relief as she got back inside,
Gina -
"We appear to be on the edge of a town square."
Sam -
"Is this where we were supposed to end up?" Sam whispered to Zoe, who shrugged in reply.
Gina -
"Okay, everyone. Let's stay in a group, and don't get too crazy. We need to get some help for our driver and directions out of here. Then we can work on dislodging our means of transportation."

When they finally stopped moving, Colleen was still latched onto Jake's arm for support. She came back to reality seconds later.Colleen-
"What.. the hell..? Where are we?"
Jake-
"I don't know.. "
Colleen-
"Dude, my mom is going to be pissed.."

Once Zoe and Sam, Lucas and Vincent, Adrian, and finally Colleen and Jake had gotten out, a curious clattering could be heard from inside the bus. It must have been the other kids, but nobody was coming out after the initial group of seven. Meanwhile, Zoe was sneaking off towards something she noticed in the trees, Sam following after her.
Adrian -
"Where are you going? You heard what Ms. Thompson said."
Sam -
"Zoe found something over here."
Zoe -
"We're just going to see what it is and come right back."
Adrian shrugged and headed back to see how his seatmate was doing since she hadn't come along. Hopefully she was okay now.
Sam -
"Hey, lookit this!"

"Chill, its probably just some joke the teachers are playing."

"Whatever.." Jake decided to see what Zoe had found, and Colleen decided to go with Adrian. |

Back inside the bus, Adrian, Lucas, Vincent, and Colleen found something alarming. Rather, it was the lack of something that was alarming- they were the only ones on board. Even the driver was gone. Adrian walked from the front to the back seats, unable to find anything that could tell them what happened.
Adrian -
"What on earth?"
Meanwhile, Jake found Sam and Zoe were clearing away leaves from an old abandoned bus. It was caught in the brush as their's had been, though clearly for much longer. It was apparently vintage with its boxier, less streamlined hood in comparison to the newer model, the paint less vibrant, likely due to lack of maintenance, and the license plate was more conspicuous.
Sam -
"How old do you think it is?"
At this point Ms. Thompson was returning to see what everyone was getting up to.

Sam and Zoe overheard Vincent and left their investigation to listen to rejoin the others. Ms. Thompson looked irritated, her brow crumpled in confusion.
Gina -
"What are you talking about?"
Adrian -
"No, seriously. Go look for yourself," Adrian said as he walked out, his eyes wide.
Ms. Thompson, Sam, and Zoe all went past him and boarded together to find things the same as was described. A sharp yelp could distinctly be heard coming from White Gate Community Youth Group's leader from outside.

Colleen was nervously fiddling with her right lip ring.
Colleen-
"This isn't funny.. A bus full of people don't just go 'poof!'" She made little explosion actions with her hands.
Jake followed Sam and Zoe on the bus, and came out with a confused expression. Soon he was at Colleen's side, who was leaning against the side of the bus.Jake-
"Weird.." When they heard the scream, Colleen jumped in surprise and they both turned to see where it was coming from.

Lucas and Vincent found that Ms. Thompson's outburst was just induced by shock and that she was safe.
Gina -
"I'm sorry. I should set a better example. We should all just breathe and stay calm. We can figure this out."
After some internal remorsefulness for allowing this to happen the children in her care, Ms. Thompson realized that moping wouldn't help anyone, and gathered the remaining members of the group. They would need help to solve this mystery.
