Quinn smiled at Leo. He seemed a lot more relaxed tonight."Had any luck tonight then, pet?" ((Nah, thanks. Quinn's great where he is!))

Leo smiled back, shoving her phone in her back pocket. "Not yet. I managed to get some numbers, though. What about you?"

Quinn looked a bit bashful."I'm afraid I took the primrose path, darling. I spent my time chatting with dear Helen. Still...this is nice, isn't it? Something quiet for once. I feel like I'm finally catching my...." He smiled ruefully."....breath."

((I actually laughed at that. Also the struggles of mobile-posting))
Leo snickered. "Tch, bad joke, dude." She gave him a playful knock in the shoulder. "You need to get out there, man. Crawl out of your little anti-social shell." She curled her fingers and made little wiggly movements at the word 'crawl.'

Quinn's smile turned bashful."Can't I simply limp instead?" He reached to jokingly pinch at her 'crawly-hands'.

Courtney- "Social limping. Works for me. Sometimes people look like skullheads to me since that magic crap the other night. I'm not keen to stare into the sockets."
Darren- "Wow. That's real, dogg." Elsewhere, Trevor saw that Leo was the tallest person in the sparse crowd - especially with the hair. But several people outweighed her. There was a surly looking manjob sitting alone, which seemed ideal - no one else to notice Trevor messing with his head. Other than that, everyone had friends or was barely larger than Trevor.

Trevor feigned that he was simply walking by his grumpy target. He didn't walk straight up to the man of tank-like build, but closely enough that he would take notice of his presence. Once he looked up, Trevor would catch his unsuspecting gaze.

Manjob- "..." Apparently, being a manjob involves surlesque levels of inattention to the environment. Trev couldn't get his notice without jumping over the counter to the bartender's side. Maybe some kind of trick. Was it time for Magical Trevor to test his chops in the reeeeal wurld?

((Please edit anything non-GM approved.))Trevor had spent his downtime practicing his flame conjuring and manipulation ((I meant to address this before, but things were moved along into the spirit board event and I forgot to. Is it alright that I'm dropping that bit of info here? It's fairly awkward exposition, so I get it if you don't dig it.)) and was confident in some new tricks. To prepare for his dour audience, he turned so that the casting hand wouldn't be visible to any sudden sideways glances.
Trevor - 「燃える。」 A gentle blaze lazily spread danced along Trevor's digits, climbed up his arm, and finally flashed in between spell caster and prey, all the while remaining no larger than the head of a lighter. ((Trevor's hypnostare is all ready to go If mannish man looks up.))

"I think you just need a little encouragement." She grinned, taking a step back to stand at Quinn's side. She gestured to the large crowd of people with an open palm, as if she was showing off merchandise in a store."C'mon, I'm sure there's a nice brainy girl somewhere in here."

Didn't seem like these two were especially put out to see the conversation pull away from them, but Courtney had a slight reaction to "brainy girl." Or was it just "girl"? Courtney- "...."
Darren- "So. Hypnotizzin'. Think you'll give it a go?"
Courtney- "Hell, I don't know. If it comes easy." Elsewhere, manly was drawn to the flame (which I imagine Trevor immediately extinguished). Trevor had gotten a wee bit of practice the other night in the mall, and trapping a person's gaze was the easy part. He soon held the man alone. Manjob- "... .... ..."

((Thanks, GM!))As the spell's fire sparkled out of existence, Trevor found himself curious about what conversation was like with a person being supernaturally manipulated.
Trevor - "Hello. How are you?"

He seemed lost in thought - too muddled to engage in meaningful words - but it was clear the "thought" he was "lost in" was the mesmeric gaze. Manjob- "Uhh... Dunno. Who are... What are you..?"

Then Trevor pondered wether gentle manipulation was a possibility.
Trevor - "I'm a friend."
