Marchese- "Good, good... Yes... Well, film is not my primary domain of expertise. I often feel somewhat out of time, and it can foil my ambition. I tried to make this film once before, with the help of Wilhelm. I confess, poor planning led to the failure of that adventure. But now... I have a very good feeling about you, August, if you don't mind me saying so."

"No worries at all, thank you, sir. I promise we'll do your film proud if you hire us. Well, it was great talking to you both but I must do the rounds. I'll catch you guys later." August smiled friendfully and moved to a new table.

Marchese- "...?"
Santi- "..." This table was open.

Quinn made his way over to Marchese and Santi's table next since it seemed like a good choice. After all, the older gentleman was their host and Santi seemed very sedate and well-mannered. "Hello again, it's been a lovely evening so far. This game has been...interesting, to say the least."

Marchese- "Why hello, Quinn, was it? I am very pleased."
Santi- "Yes, it's not too bad."

"Yes, Quinn McReedy. I have to confess, this whole format for the evening is rather interesting. However did you come up with it?" He made sure to reference both of them just in case it had been a joint effort on the duo's part.

Marchese- "Ah yes, my friends are always fond of a good game."
Santi- "..."
Marchese- " I thought it would be a good chance for everyone to talk to one another, and not... leave the wallflowers on the wall, so to speak. Una cerchia di amici!"
Santi- "How are you getting on? Find anyone interesting to talk to?"

Quinn listened attentively to Marchese until he switched languages and then he could only blink, lost. His education had only touched briefly on other languages...they hadn't been his focus."I beg your pardon...but what did that last little bit mean, if you don't mind my asking?" He addressed Santi's question next."I'm...admittedly poor in large social gatherings like these, but I must confess I found Mrs. Inka and Miss Florence very charming." His head canted ever so slightly, curious. Santi was a quiet young man, it seemed."Have you been enjoying your evening?"

Marchese- "Forgive me! All these years in Glenland and I still find my mother tongue the most expressive. It is 'a Circle of friends', I don't know what the..."
Santi- "Pretty much 'circle of friends,' Dad."
Marchese- "The young ones are always better at picking up languages. At any rate, Inka! Florence! Lovely, kind women. If you got along well with them, I hope they got along well with you!"
Santi- "My night? It's not bad. I know all these people so I have that to my advantage. Knowing them then, I'm curious who will take to whom as this game goes. I hope everyone finds someone to... get along with."
Marchese- "Pish! There's one for... almost everyone."
Santi- "...Mm, yes. I suppose I should concern myself with my own choice. Well, not that there is much of one, I go last."

Quinn addressed Marchese first."I agree, they were both very charming. I fear I may have come off as slightly over-eager about certain subjects, but Mrs. Inka seemed rather forgiving of my...enthusiasm." He turned next to Santi with a degree of surprise. Santi would be choosing someone to sponsor as well? But he seemed so young!"You're playing the game as well?" He had to admit, he'd thought Santi was only there because he was the son of the benefactor, not because he had any stake in the game. Of course, then he realized only AFTER he'd spoken that his incredulity might come off as rude."I...forgive me, that was uncalled for, Santi. I didn't mean to express doubts, I was just...curious."

Marchese- "Inka is a doll, isn't she?"
Santi- "It has been left rather mysterious, hasn't it? I should probably try to reveal less... So, how do you feel about life taking unexpected turns? How do you deal with new situations?"

Quinn smiled at Marchese and then thought seriously about how to answer Santi. Of course, it didn't require THAT much thought considering how much change he'd had to go through in his life recently, so he answered frankly."To be honest? I don't think anyone likes when life takes an unexpected turn, especially if it's for the worst. I'm no different. All the same, they happen and I feel like you just have to deal with it, move on and adapt. If I didn't adapt in some way to a new situation, I'd die, wouldn't I? What's the point of that?"

Marchese- "Death is rather pointless, isn't it?"
Santi- "Mm... That's good. Do you have any other questions for us then, Quinn?"

"Of course death is pointless when there are other options available." He said to Marchese and then turned to Santi."I only really have one question, actually. I don't think our film is rubbish or anything like that, but how did you find your way to us? It's been explained a little...but vaguely. I'm just curious, really."

Santi- "Well, that is simple enough. Wilhelm saw the premiere. Now it might seems silly for others to take a deep interest on the say of one, but as we said before, we are interested in advancing a film project of our own. So the timing was good."
