Vitus- "Did I mention that this party is awkward? I believe I did."

Trevor - "Yes. Thank you for your time." Trevor thinks it's more these two that were awkward. He moves on.

This table was next visited by the illustrious true blue director, August."Hey, how's it hanging? August Hayes, I'm the director. It's a pleasure to meet ya both."

Vitus- "August, likewise, I'm Vitus and this is Jack, it's hanging..?"
Jack- "I think we're supposed to ignore the implications about our genitals. This is a formal party, after all. August, we and our genitals are doing just fine. Yourself?"

August sat down and poured himself some champagne with a friendly nod.“Hahaha, mine aren't doing too badly either. I'd ask if you two had questions about my film, but none of y'all here have seen it. So I'll ask, what kind of films do ya like?”

Vitus- "Hm, I don't watch films often, but somehow I've seen a great many. I'm always curious how people will adapt books that I loved in my youth, like Eleanor and the White King by Haight. I've seen two adaptations and there's a new one coming out in a little while with Lia Elman. Tarsian historical epics have an emotional nuance you might find surprising, and-"
Jack- "It's got to have subtitles, and those subtitles should have lots of words. Maybe it can win an award or two before it even comes out.
Vitus- "Hrm?"
Jack- "I like almost anything as long as it's fun and it's not too long. I don't usually like arty stuff, sorry. I'm sure your film is lovely though."
Vitus- "Quite."

“Thanks guys, it's cool...The good thing about Tarsian historical epics is they're not afraid to show a bit of skin. Sometimes I reckon people get sucked in by the flowery language and nude scenes but there's nothing behind it.The same way Antearctan films tend to get overlooked as weird and outlandish. We're not all gunfights and shaky cameras. Sure it's overly gritty, the script is questionable and we always insist on making it bleak, but there's more to it ya know? So what was the last film you saw, Jack?”

Vitus- "...OK..."
Jack- "Swine Swarm 2. It's pretty funny. Not as good as the original."
Vitus- "Is that one of those... the ones with the computer, er, monsters?"
Jack- "If you must."

“Yeah, that was a great film. A bit over the top but fun none the less. My lecturer reckons it was an some kinda allegory to the absurdity of wealth. He's a huge fan. So what do you guys have to do with all this? Y'all gonna be involved in the film? Definitely make more sense than Mr. Dragomir, he's a bit of an odd duck.”

Vitus- "... These questions are getting ever more difficult to answer. Let's just say we're here for the party."

“Well err never mind…It's not that bad, I've been to worse parties.” August had to think quick to change the subject. This was strangely awkward. “So... Darren of The Belfries is here, that's pretty bombaroo! His sister is sweet. Do you know him?”

Vitus- "...Oh, yes, Helen. Sister. He's that Rock and Roll fellow, with the band... He's a bit high strung."
Jack- "High strung... Yeah, something like that."
Vitus- "You liked these Belfries? That's kind of exciting for you, then?"

"Yeah, they're pretty rocking. I guess a little before your time. I like that kind of stuff. Not sure what he's doing here but that's cool. So I guess we gotta make with the questions. If either of you could have dinner with any famous person, living or dead, who would it be?

Vitus- "Oh, that's a classic, like in classified dating services."
Jack- "Oh, man, Vitus, who set that profile up for you? I'm surprised you did it on your own."
Vitus- "What? Plenty of women found it charming. Erm, well, I said Worshipper Rose of Solland. She had the most elaborate visions, and an interesting life and times. I almost felt in her last tome that she didn't even believe all of the things she had written - and I'd love to ask."
Jack- "Holy shit, dude, you shoulda said Lia Elman."
Vitus- "Well what about you?"
Jack- "...Doctor. PinkPink."
