Mr. Wasko (False) would just about fall on his face. Molly notices footprints in the dust from large shoes, possibly the size of her companion's on the floor, leading towards the back door. They weren't here when they got here.

"Ow." Wolf slowly stood back up, moving as if he were a senior citizen.[/i]

Molly put a sympathetic hand on her friend's arm and pointed at the footprints with her pool cue." Somebody passed through. Do you want to investigate? It ... could be a beautiful car." That would be nice.

The tracks lead outside. The beautiful "car" could be a beautiful male car, maybe, if anything at all.

"I'm curious." He started in the direction of the tracks.[/i]

Wolf cannot seem to follow the tracks, he mixes them up with his own and ends up where he started for some reason. Molly, on the other hand, is able, with some difficulty, to follow them outside, and then they are lost. No more helpful dust. To her they seem recent. Maybe someone had been listening to them. The mess of footprints muddled their investigation.

Wolf was looking hella paranoid.[/i] "Let's just get the apples and go." They went back to the terrace opposite the lake and filled bags with apples, many overripe, but some just right for delicious munching. Wolf babbled about a recipe he vaguely remembered for a apple spice cake that they might try. Apparently he was a nervous talker around people he trusted.[/i]

Molly took a distracted bite from a particularly ripe, sweet apple. As Wolf chatted, she glanced at a tree off to the side. Honestly, apple spice cake sounded delicious. This was the kind of conversation she wanted to encourage and put into action. A shame they were being followed.[/i] "Wolf. Movement ... behind that tree."

He could not see anything behind the tree, however, Molly could make out faint movement away from them. A tallish figure wearing a long coat or jacket was making its way away from them subtly, both doing its best to go unseen, and having been gifted with the fluidity to make such an effort seem practically effortless.
It slunk like a leopard around the front of the house, and was unseen again.

Wolf somehow managed to look more hella paranoid.[/i] "Let's go." He hoisted as many bags as he could carry, then hustled up the stairs to the bike.[/i]

Molly followed quickly, her gaze jumping around as she looked for more signs of movement. When she reached the bike, she climbed on behind Wolf as quickly as possible.[/i] "Maybe we should take a round-about way home."

As they pull out, Molly notices a tall figure in the alley watching them. For whatever reason Molly's eye would decide it was a woman, although there's no real hints at anything either way. It stands perfectly stock still, apparently watching them.
The person is wearing an open trenchcoat with a button-up shirt, tie, and slacks, with shiny loafer-style shoes.

They zipped away from Case del Lobo at higher speeds than they had approached and by a strange, lengthy, and confusing route. This time, Molly felt the need to hold on, though the bike handled quite smoothly in the corners. Molly saw some areas of Madrona that she hadn't seen in months and she spied a few sketchy dwellings at the edge of Cap Hill, shrouded in the black mists of impaled ghosts. They pulled up to the Mansion about twenty minutes later.[/i]
