Condos with business space downstairs, sharing a courtyard with the Pan-Pacific Hotel.

Tyrone and Patti busted into this building from Lenora Street and found it... Creepy and hellishly dark. They used road flares in case of ghosts, and as soon as Patti found the service corridor, Tyrone doubled back to the stairs.

Tyrone already looked pretty winded, even before he headed upstairs. Maybe they should have looked for nicotine patches instead of cigarettes way back when.
She came in through the service door to the Kirsten Pipe Company. The place had been completely looted, presumably by the Pan Pac Goons. Pretty high-end blunt wrappers, but whatever floats their boats.
She stayed low behind the counter, duck walking all the way to the front. The curved counter had a walk-around where she could peak through, but provided a good visual distraction. As long as she didn't jump up and down waving her arms, she should be relatively easy to miss.
She was disappointed to realize that the trees on the island completely obstructed her view of the plaza entry to the Pan Pac. She backed out to the service hall, then moved down to the door for the chiropractor's office.
She had to move through a short maze of halls and exam rooms to find her way to the front of the space. A low wall gave her cover and there was even a stool for her to sit on. The plaza had been cleared of vehicles, presumably to make it easier for the goons to see if anyone or anything was approaching.
She waited quietly. Davin, Sarah, and Ash showed up about fifteen minutes later, accompanied by Jalil. She had only met him once and only in passing, but he had a distinctive face. That and it wasn't like she met a lot of new people these days; it was pretty easy to remember those remarkable occasions when she actually met someone new.
She unholstered her sidearm and set it on the counter space in front of her. She ensured the safety was engaged. She waited with no shortage of anxiety.

Tyrone moved through the dark interior to the stairwell, moving his torch high and low, looking around a lot. He thought about the uselessness of a bulletproof vest against ghosts and even zombies. And even humans at point blank with frying pans.
The stairs had frequently placed small windows, making them less eerie than the first floor interior. He went as far as the fifth floor, then came out into a fairly dark hall. He slowed his pace, leaned against a wall to catch his breath, hearing only his respiration and the hiss of the torch. Then he moved again.
There was a window to the courtyard at the end of the hall, but he'd feel too open from behind if he used it. He went to that end of the hall and tried the doors. The closest apartments to the plaza were both locked. He went with the left and kicked the door in.
The apartment was moderately well-lit by windows. He moved through it carefully, knowing the open windows were ways he could be seen by the Pan-Pac people. They were very large. He went to a back bedroom, closing doors behind him, so that zombies at least would make some noise coming in. He peeked out the window slowly, focusing on the windows of the hotel across the plaza... No one in sight. He closed the blinds most of the way.
The ritzy condos were pre-furnished. This one didn't look like it had ever been lived in, but had nice, slightly dusted conveniences. He upended a coffee table to help balance the rifle, and took a stool from a bar to sit on. He rested the road flare on another stool, took aim at the door to the hotel, and waited. Tyrone- "Come an' get me, ghosties. My ass is wide open. *sigh*"

Patti and Tyrone saw them wait while one cop ran upstairs. A different cop came back, checked them for weapons, and led them into the lobby, out of Tyrone's sight. Patti couldn't make the faces, but she could tell her side was surrounded by cops in there...

Someone came into the apartment Tyrone was in. He heard them open the door and step inside. Was it a tentative movement, or a shambolic zombie movement? The guys below would have to make do without eyes in the sky. He carefully took his hands off the rifle, stood up, and pulled his handgun. As he moved carefully toward the side of the door, he heard someone trying to move quietly through the other room, and wondered how much the reverse was true.Voice outside- "H- hello?"
Tyrone- "Hello? Who's thera?"
Voice outside- "I live here. Did you come to scavenge? It's OK."
Tyrone- "OK. But come through th' door nice an' slow now." He readied the gun but didn't point it. A woman came in. Woman- "Oh, you aren't going to hurt me, are you?"
Tyrone- "Naw. Your neighbors at Pan-Pac are rowda, an' my guys need a guardian angel."
Woman- "Oh god, I saw you kill a lot of those... people, a few months ago. Down there."
Tyrone- "Y' mean the zombies? Ma'am, those aren't people. You really live hera?"
Woman- "Like a ghost. It's ... horrible."
Tyrone- "I feel for you, I really do, and you can come away from here with me, but I got t' do this thing now. Jus' wait a lil bit..."

There was clearly tension in the scene below as the guys came out, but it didn't look like the pricks were going to follow Davin's crew home. Tyrone sighed, but kept the pigs in his sight.
Until he heard a loud thump next to him. He jumped in his seat, and saw the lady standing next to him, her mouth open in mute protest, her eyes filled with unfathomable woe. Tyrone- "God, ma'am, whut-?"
Woman- "..." That's when he noticed a few things at once - the ghost smell, that she was glowing slightly, that her body was at her feet and beginning to stir with hunger for the flesh of the living, and that there must be a dark ghost near by. He fell out of his seat, accidentally toppling the stool his flare had been resting on in the process. It tumbled end over end through the air...
Five minutes later, Tyrone came out of the building, meeting Patti behind the bushes. Tyrone- "I'm reada to go home now."

"Yeah. I think we lucked out on this one big time." They headed back the way they came, still taking care not to be seen by any guards at Pan Pac.

Another day.... Patti & Joe went out to the Comm Center at 403 to get weapons, and hustle to their positions..."Joe, you might talk to Tyrone briefly before we go. He can tell you the where he set up and what the building was laid out like. I only saw the first floor." Joe- "Mm... If I can find him quickly. I know what the risks are and we don't have a lot of time.
"I'll be set up in the chiropractor's office." Joe- "I'll know where to look if I need to then." "I'm going to go get my gun and such and I'll meet you downstairs in five minutes." Joe- "Copy that." They went to business!

Down in the alley, Joe came out to meet Patti. Joe- "OK. Lead the way. I've got flares and weapons. Good to go." Joe might be an interesting dude to talk to sometime when you aren't in stealth action mode.

"We'll go the same way Tyrone and I went last time with a slight modification. There's better cover coming from the south, so we're going down Boren, crossing over to Fairview all the way down to Virginia. We'll turn back north between Terry and Ninth." Joe- "That's a haul. We'll have to hustle if I'm gonna get upstairs and positioned in time."
"What did Tyrone have to say?" Joe- "He met a person, a zombie, a mute ghost, and a dark ghost, three of which were the same lady, if I got that right. Basically, it's totally unsecured."

Joe- "I'm gonna have to weasel my way into early planning for shit like this. For now..." They were already jogging, switching to a zombie stagger for short distances when they might be in line of sight to Pan-Pac.

They rolled up on the Lenora Lofts like BAs, knocking in the door like before, and charged to their positions. Patti was confident and ready for action, but became very anxious as the party moved out of sight in Pan-Pac. Every sound in the building threatened to blossom into villains in her mind. Was this building this fucking creaky last time? How is that, it's made out of concrete!
They kept the watch.
