The factory is eerily quiet other than your own splashing and voices. Shouldn't you at least be hearing the commotion on the boat? How far had did you end up?
Edmund--
Aughh... you try to stand and your ankle gives out, sending you flopping back
into the water. It doesn't seem broken, but no way you are running anymore.

Harriet- I notice Edmund has trouble walking and put an arm under his to help support him as we walk together.
I survey this place. Where are we? I try to rationalize what I see around me. Where are the exits? Is there anything to see here?

(Anxious)
I accepted her help eagerly, wincing with the pain. I looked around as well, on the look out for more demons or creatures looking to take parts of me away.
Edmund-
"Thanks, Harriet. Glad I found you. Sorry I ignored you before all this. It wasn't personal. I guess Mills has been eaten. That'll be an interesting end to my book."

You think this must be one of the many factories on the island. Nothing
this big could be downtown otherwise. It was hard to even make out the edges of
the space, now lit only by the moon peeking through storm windows fifty feet up.
But how did you go from the boat to a factory?

Harriet- "It's ok. I lost him and the kid and I think we're somewhere on Zug Island. We should look for a door somewhere..." My disappointment and anger was palpable. I wanted to punch Mills, his mother, and whatever else was responsible for the rest of this. I wish I had just marked him, if only because it would have meant I would not have been completely helpless in this mess. I look for a door, while supporting the doctor.

(Anxious) Edmund- "The kid hasn't been found to be lost. Pretty sure he was dead long before we got here. I don't think so, we're not in Kansas anymore. I wish we were on Zug island. Then we could find Rodriguez and get the hell out of here!! I saw them when I used the black vanity but I wasn't really there. He couldn't hear me and I couldn't understand anything. Like I was some terrible ghost."

Rain pattered gently against the window glass. If it weren't so cold, and
you weren't aching and exhausted and soggy, it might almost be relaxing here.

Harriet- I look around with my flashlight to see if there are any doors or windows, or any way to get out. Is there any evidence of people here? I wonder. This is all too strange to be part of the ship. Where were we now? I wished I had answers. Where were the others?

(Anxious) Edmund- "That beast ate a small me. Do you think it has organs? What happens when a demon eats a part of you like that? Will a small part of me always be missing? Where do you think this grandma is? I mean if the boy is alive, that's where he is. Honestly I just want to leave and get some R and R. Get back to my real family and council rich vapid clients who's biggest problem is the size of their bank accounts..."

This factory likely would come alive in the morning, get to whatever inscrutable activities happened inside-- metal smelting or refining... things. Everyone had clocked off long ago, though. There was a walkway on the other side of the water, though hard to tell which direction would be better go. There were more drainage pipes like the one you'd gone through, one every thirty feet or so.

Harriet- I made my way towards the walkway, not particularly eager to move through any of the pipes, and looked for any signs of security cameras, or alert systems. I was not particularly sure if this place was safe, or indeed, where we should be going. "... I think..we'll be on our way home soon enough.. But I don't know where we are now. A... a little you... I didn't see anything, though you should see a... a medical doctor after all of this, and um, I didn't see any grandma, but I saw another one of those meat monsters with a tiny head. Honestly, I don't know where she is, if she's real or what she looks like." Was it a relief that Mills was gone? No, he was out there somewhere, and I had just watched him meet his fate. For now, we should focus on getting out of this factory, and finding some help for Edmund...

(Anxious) I looked at her affronted. I continued walking, trying to help look for a way out.Edmund- "I'm not mad! I know what I saw! Oh nooo… You think I just imagined it? Shouldn't I know better? Am I no better than Mills? I'm supposed to make people better. The grandmother? Perhaps she looks like whatever you think she should look like... Did you see the black veil ghouls? I think they were her priestesses or something. Maybe she looks like that. I saw William but it was just a demon. Or at least I hope. He was with his babysitter... I think. Oh no." I mumbled under my breath."Why was she making gravy?"

Your footsteps seem excessively loud in the giant, reverberating space.
Ed's ranting echoes around you, all too reminiscent of that stairwell to
the engine room.
Something moves in the shadows... low down, under a conveyor belt.
Skitter skitter... Out comes a cockroach the size of a chihuahua. Its skin
is translucent, its organs squishing rhythmically. It skitters towards you,
and so do its siblings... ((Roll 2d10+reflexes!))

Harriet- "...I see them alright. Let's get out of here..." So the nightmare wasn't over. But would it ever be? And where were we anyways? How could I stop all of this? Did I have to see a shrink too? I helped guide Edmund out of here.4_SZRKSO·
