Harriet- Harriet followed behind the others. Mills was not cooperating. Either that, or he wasn't the perpetrator, but she had always assumed that someone innocent would not be nearly this smug. And yet she had doubts.
Was he really playing a game or did he simply believe that he had done it?

_gGH1SmC+1 Detective Butcher took a deep breath and closed his eyes. Detective Butcher- "Right. So. For the next hour or so, the perpetrator destroyed the boy's belongings, including spray painting over family pictures and pouring food down the garbage disposal. At some point he was interrupted by Ryan Bedford coming home from work. As Mr. Bedford entered, he was attacked and dragged to the dining room chair where he was tied."
He gestured to the ghost of a stain on the wall, the blood had reached the ceiling."He was tortured for an unknown length of time by being stabbed in the legs and abdomen, before his throat was cut." Mills had a dazed look, eyes unfocused. Timothy- "Grandma came downstairs, she was drinking the blood..." ·

Ryan-- "Just a reminder that Mr. Mills believes his grandmother is a demon that lives in the wardrobe."

Interesting approach, Brandeis. Edmund- ”I don’t believe he has said that. It’s the door to her home and she drinks blood. Let’s not put any more ideas in his head. People in Mills condition are very susceptible to suggestions. Now Timothy, who is your grandma? Did she help you?”

Timothy- "NO! I don't want to see her again!" He twisted in his cuffs weakly, like a child that's buckled into the carseat.
Detective Butcher- "Oh brother. So shortly after this is when Officer Clark and I arrived." He gestured to the front door. "The perpetrator was not in sight as we entered. Clark went to the hallway and I went to the sliding door."
Timothy- "You weren't there. You were in grandma's house."
Detective Butcher- "Are you kidding me..."

Well at least he hadn’t taken the demon bait.Edmund- ”It’s metaphor, Butcher. Don’t worry about it. Your grandma won’t be turning up today. We have you in handcuffs Timothy, it’s quite safe.”

Harriet- Harriet meditated on the matter, internalizing it. What else could she say about these things?
Their suspect was certainly...deranged. She saw that much. He seemed to be confused about who and what was happening at any given time and the matter of his grandmother, well. She was no longer with them.

What a shit show. Vampire Chronicles of Narnia.
Colt- "The next part is going to involve some conjecture, but it's based on a very thorough look at the evidence here, so take 'alleged' as read here, OK?"
I gestured for Joe to continue. Whenever possible, I was trying to distract him from Timmy's stupid face.

Detective Butcher- "Alright, so I'm here--" He stood facing the sliding door, his back to the living room. "--I secure the door and I'm checking the body for vitals. I guess... just a formality at that point."
Timothy- "Someone's downstairs--"
Detective Butcher- "I guess I got knocked out from behind, and M-- and the perpetrator used my gun to shoot Officer Clark."
Timothy- "He's in Grandma's house, where it's safe."
Butcher seethed for a moment, looking out the glass to the swiftly darkening
backyard.
Detective Butcher- "Oh god, I forgot-- the little girl. He took her upstairs to the wardrobe. Called her over somehow, maybe made the little boy call her to come play. Maybe we should go look up there, huh?"
Timothy- "No. Don't look in there..."
Detective Butcher- "What do you say, everyone? Maybe we should go open that wardrobe up. Amanda died there too, didn't she?"
Timothy- "No-- no no no. Do you want me to confess? I'll do it, just don't make me..."

Gerald -
One moment, Detective. I'm going to ask you all to avoid provoking Mr. Mills any further. Let's refrain from talk about his grandmother, demons, or any combination of the two.

Colt- "It's a good idea, officer. We're not going to visit Narnia up there, OK? Just gonna look at the last part of the crime scene."

I glanced at Brandeis, trying to hide a slightly smug smile.Edmund- ”It might be painful, Timothy but it’s important to face the truth. Tell us what happened up there.”

I had to make my objections crystal clear.Ryan-- "Any confession my client makes at this point would be inadmissable. I strongly object to Detective Butcher using Mr. Mills' trauma for leverage."

Detective Butcher- "..." He looked like he wanted to talk back, but glanced to Colt to save him.
