"NOT my girlfriend. That was just a scary monster - I resembled her dead husband, maybe." He put the book aside and knelt beside Robert.
"I made a song about your heroism. Once there was an act-or named Rob-bee. He rescued me. His guns are so big. I will name my first-born child Gunz in honor of his." It was a horrible song, just awful! He clearly didn't spend time refining the lyrics or melody.

Sylvia- "...Well, I'm sure they'll go away if we don't go outside, but what if they are more of those dog things? I think we should at least take a look. Nothing's broken into the house for weeks, and we have guns. What do we have to lose?" She strikes a pose and goes towards the gun cabinet to go rooting for some weapons."Are you coming Marcos?"

"Of course. My lord and savior Robert needs support." This was how Marcos Emily made friends. Maybe that's why he had trouble keeping them.

“Ha....great song there... Lord and saviour is a bit much though. Let's get cracking then shall we?” Rob grabbed his pole from the cupboard. He was ready to go teach some mangy possibly magic mutts, a lesson in who the big guns where.

The group, without the company of Breg, entered the Common Room. The two intervening weeks had seen the common room redecorated with various paintings, pictures, and artwork of all the guests.
A young girl, and three women in full dresses were busy performing household tasks here and there, though they stopped to watch the new guests' arrival.Adelle- "This is a nice place." She had had no trouble walking over the doorway."How do you live as a community? Divisions of tasks? Or are you all individuals working within an established unit? Her expression hardly changed as she asked them various questions, and she regarded them with impassive yellowish eyes. Though she was no taller than anyone else present, she stood ramrod straight and bore her weight with an even grace.Sylvia- "Kind of both. We sort of let people do their own thing here. Where do you two come from? I hate to say it, but it's nice to have guests over." Sylvia clearly seemed to appreciate their female guests more than the male ones, for some reason.

Rob was also kind of excited to have more women in the enclave."Hate to say it? Well, I'd love to say it's simply brilliant to meet such charming new people! Tell us more about yourselves. Anything we'd ought to know and of course feel free to ask us anything too."

Wolf appeared from the kitchen area with two saucers, bearing steamy teacups and small rectangles of a dark brown cakey-looking thing. He offered them up to the two new guests. He smiled cordially. "Warm tea of some sort, smells like green or maybe black. Not herbal. You also get to split the last piece of apple spice cake. It's a little rummy for shelf life, so if you don't drink for moral reasons, you might want to pass."

Adelle- "I will have a piece, and some tea. Thank you." She watches him with intelligent and strangely intense eyes, and delicately takes the plate with her spidery fingers. She takes a very ginger sip."This is a well-defended home." She says, examining the painted doorframes from far away.

Dorothy laughed again at the enthusiasm of her hosts. She didn't know who to answer first, and was grateful for Wolf's arrival with food and drink.
Her large hands easily balanced the saucer in one palm, and Dorothy sipped experimentally at the tea, having never had the drink before.
Setting the curious non-coffee back on the saucer, Dorothy smiled thankfully at Wolf before answering Sylvia. "It's nice to be a guest, I must say." She enjoyed a bit of the offered food before continuing. "I'm from Montana, myself. Headed out in a random direction back when. And y'all?"

"I'm from all over, lived in the neighborhood just over a year when the soup went down." Despite the blue hair and maybe a little bit because of the nice clothes he was wearing, the man seemed about ([dice=20+4] x5%) trustworthy.[rand=63174405298195786625522952526808374070514924824248061810615472496]

Rob studied Adelle for a second, why so interested in fortification and so little on socialisation? He shrugged to himself before returning his smile to Dorothy."I'm from London originally, came here to get into serious acting. What did you do in Montana, Dorothy?"

Adelle- They are both acutely aware that Adelle is now watching them both very closely, as if drinking in their small movements, and following their hands where they go. She now seems focused on following their conversation. She takes two bites of her meal and drinks tea with it gingerly, waiting for them to share their stories in more depth before she says what she apparently has to say.

Sylvia- "It's nice to have guests, but I don't trust our neighbors across the way." She says thoughtfully, and then smiles."Anything else I can get for you Dorothy? I'll introduce the family soon, there's Sister Blaze in the hall, Sister Isa in the kitchen, who does most of the cooking, Christa, and Sister Marissa, who is a little shy." She makes accompanying gestures and seems overall in a great mood considering their close call with monsterdogs.

Dorothy smiled all around widely, happily. She didn't seem at all discomforted by the attention. She addressed Rob first. "An actor? I've never met one before, you know that?" She tapped her chin, considering his question. "Mostly cattle ranching. Family ran a ranch for a couple generations, so you could say it was in my blood to work it." To Sylvia, Dorothy shook her head briefly. "Y'all have been too kind already. Don't go putting anyone out in my name."
